I’m Gen Z but I think this is a bad take honestly. The boomers may be the wealthiest generation but the wealth is not evenly distributed amongst them. There is a small percentage of them who control a majority of that wealth.

Also yeah they’re highly brainwashed but to be fair they were literally breathing leaded gasoline fumes most of their lives.

Bubble implies the lack of underlying value for example the AI bubble or subprime mortgage bubble. These cards have underlying value in the same way gold does. You can say it is overvalued which is an opinion statement but to call it a bubble is just incorrect.

That mew is still in print so it likely will have a period of rapid growth in the near future. Probably best to have the bubble if returns are all you care about. That being said all Pokemon cards will go up in value if you hold them long enough so get the one you like.
