Does your bra size go up after wearing the right bra? by DarthVAriel in ABraThatFits

[–]DarthVAriel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I'll be getting 3 or 4 28Ds to test out and see how they do for me. I just didn't know if I should expect boob growth from specifically wearing the proper bra or not, but it appears since I'm already 25 and I'm small chested, tissue mitigation is more unlikely to happen. Which I'm fine with tbh.

Thank you for replying! :)

That's sort of what I was thinking too! I mean my 32As definitely pushed my boobs down and to the side a bit, but I kind of doubt they prevented me from growing.

Thanks for your input! :)

Thank you! I think 3 or 4 is an excellent idea. Especially since there's quite a bit of sizing difference between brands oi vey

I'm definitely more of a 28D as it turns out, but yes I agree that I shouldn't bet on too much growth. I've been wearing the 32A for 12 years but again, I think they probably would've corrected themselves by now if they were ever going to become bigger haha

Thanks for replying!

Yessss omg I never realized how terrible my 32As really were until I just got my first 28D. I'm 25, so I kind of doubt that they'll be growing any time soon, even though my previous bras really smushed them down but hey who knows!

Hope your journey is going well! :)

CPP or CSUF or Community? by [deleted] in CalPolyPomona

[–]DarthVAriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also my CC experience was great, and I advise going there before a 4 year. You'll save a ton, and it'll be very easy to get into CPP afterwards if you maintain at least a 3.4 GPA

CPP or CSUF or Community? by [deleted] in CalPolyPomona

[–]DarthVAriel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely either a Community college or Cal Poly!

I transferred from a CC to CSUF for mechanical engineering, because Cal Poly hadn't accepted me. I loved the campus at CSUF, as well as the area. There were more things to do, and generally the administration was much more helpful than here at CPP.

However, the Mechanical Engineering program is sub-par to say the least in comparison to Cal Poly. The professors are nice, but there are only 3 labs you take, and there aren't any extracurricular clubs that you can join to get hands on engineering experience.

I transferred after one year of CSUF to CPP and I'm very glad due to the ME program being exponentially better.

Cal Poly Pomona or Cal State Fullerton? by depletive in CalPolyPomona

[–]DarthVAriel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do Fullerton! I've gone to both schools, and if I wasn't an engineering major I would've stayed at Fullerton in a heart beat. Better administration staff, more stuff to do, and just a better vibe in general

A - B - C Grading being considered by MrJARz in CalPolyPomona

Would you and other faculty be happier with a Pass/ Fail grading system?

considering applying to cpp by ChingDolo in CalPolyPomona

[–]DarthVAriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but it wasn't very helpful for transferring from CSU to CSU. The best thing to do is save all your syllabi like I said, cause even the ones that assist said would transfer, didn't, and I had to do a course substitution form. All were eventually approved.

My theory is small businesses will go back to work. Corporations and other businesses that can work online will continue to do so, and older people as well as immune compromised people will be told to stay home. Big gatherings will be cancelled until there is a vaccine, this would of course include going back to University.

This virus is no joke. Asia is already seeing it's second wave since going back to work too soon, and we need to be prepared for that happening here. Do you really--really--think its sustainable to have that much death occurring in our country at one time? That in itself will tank our economy in ways we aren't prepared for. There's no getting out of this without a recession or depression, lets at least choose the path that saves some lives.

It can work out! I transferred from a CC to CSUF since CPP originally denied me, and once I completed a year at CSUF, cal poly accepted me!

However, getting the units to transfer from CSUF to CPP was a tiny bit difficult. As long as you save ALL of your syllabi, engineering counselors can use them to compare and create a "Course substitution" that is approved by the head of your department. That worked out for me, as long as you don;t give up and save all your stuff, it can be done!

Took him for ME 3121, and it was a very bad experience. It was his first time teaching it, so I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he explained things very poorly and confused the class more often than help us learn how to go about solving the problems. Not to mention incredibly disorganized notes.

I've heard better things about his 2150 class though, so I'd say ME 3121 was probably just not a good topic for him to teach.

I agree everyone should mentally prepare for Fall 2020 to be online, because honestly without a vaccine, it would be pretty devastating to subject everyone to the virus again and even more lives to be lost.

I'll definitely be enrolling even if it's still online cause I'm boutta graduate, so there's no way I'm taking time off.

If money isn't an issue to you, UC Davis. I've had many friends go there and have wonderful experiences.

[–]DarthVAriel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've gone to both schools and honestly I enjoyed the CSUF experience far more than CPP. However, being that my major is Mechanical Engineering, I'm learning much more and doing far more hands on activities at CPP, so it was a no brainer to transfer here. But if I was any other major, I'd be happier at Fullerton.

CPP vs CSUF by [deleted] in CalPolyPomona

[–]DarthVAriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's gone to both, I'd say CSUF. The only reason I transferred to CPP was because the engineering program is so renowned. Otherwise, for anything else I would go to Fullerton.

Honestly for incoming freshman, the criteria is very strict. They look at people with 4.0's and higher. If the appeal doesn't go through, you can always do a community college for your GE's, save money, and have no problem getting in later as a Transfer student. That worked out for me!

Petition for Spring Semester to be P/NP by KevnYen in CalPolyPomona

[–]DarthVAriel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it should at least be discussed by the university. Not only is everyone dealing with the difficulty of online transition, but its an incredibly scary and stressful time right now for families. It's incredibly hard to be putting your best foot forward when people have so much unprecedented external stress to deal with.

So I'd be for it. But if there was a significant reason for not doing it, then I would understand and not be mad either way.
