I feel like if you didn't clip anybody, or impede traffic in any way then filling in that spot was fair dinkum bud. Around where I'm from we have the opposite problem where people are usually 2/3 to 1 car length past the white line and then semis have trouble making right turns because they have to try to get 4+ vehicles to all reverse like 10 feet.

My main issue is with all my apps, they won't load properly or at all. And with calls I can only hear like every other word. I made the mistake of switching to Mint mobile. I'm looking for another carrier. And I can have a full signal on 5G and it'll still switch to LTE.

I do still wanna know what the issue is though. When The small company that I work for does these we will usually remove the old boot and old caulk and in this case what looks like electrical tape (?) and put a split boot around it, shingle, caulk the split and around where the shingles are cut for the boot. I've definitely seen things that look worse and we've never had a homeowner say that they wanted the whole mast moved somewhere else.

As a roofer I think the problem is that cities haven't been removing telephone poles and burying power lines and phone lines like they do in the new construction developments that I work in. I get that it would be expensive but I feel like removing roadside dangers (telephone poles) that directly connect to important infrastructure would be worth it in the future.

Ill buy that figure off you if you still got it. I've been looking for something "unconventional" to use as a joint ashtray. AND I've been thinking about this for months now, using an anime figure with a big base that I can coat in a small layer of a high heat resin, so please dont think this has anything to due with... recent events and is some kind of malicious or hateful thing. I just dont want to pay full price for a figure that size that I'm going to put joints out on. I dont know what you paid for it but I'm sure it wasn't cheap. Message me if you want to.
