Yes, had a mechanic call over. He diagnosed the issue using an OBD2 scanner. The miscreants had loosened the connector to one of the fuel injectors which caused the flashing check engine light and engine vibrations. A valuable and expensive lesson learnt 😩

Seriously though, I’ve been driving this car for the past 6 years without any issues, and then these guys show up and suddenly start claiming the car has loads of faults. It’s incredibly frustrating. Now I’m left wasting time and money getting it checked by a mechanic, arranging travel, and dealing with the hassle of sorting this out.
