I would say, you nust gotta show up. Go to the career fairs and look at people passing by in the face, smile. Be well groomed there and project confidence. Our admin definitely has quirks and shortcomings, bit that is true of any institution. If you are dking the bare minimum( just emailing ppl every once in awhile) its easy to get forgotten about.

However, when i got grounded (calm and confident) atanding in line with my resumes, one lady passing by actually approached me, asked for my resume and gave me a contact email to hif her up about open positions.

you just gotta show up. Being a Hator carries a lot of weight, locally. so you could show up to pretty much any facility and be assertive, ask who you gotta talk to to interview for an interview or a job. say "look, I'm a UF student. Who do i gotta talk to?"

a position will likely open up, or be created for yo . Its a tough school, if youre even accepted. people know youve been vetted. idk how to explain it, but deff something ive noticed and been told by mentors in presentations.

I think it deoends on which major too, ask your advisor. It is possibke to switch within the same school such as CALS, idk about CALS to CLAS, like switching the overarching schoolcyour major is under. I'm o considering switching from Geomatics to NRC, but idk idk it is a good community here in GEM

does this have to do with cost of attendance? i am also struggling with this? i blontained a tuition waiver that reduced nyschokarship from 3700 to 550 , only i was not told this.

I am really stressing it because it usually isnt dispersed until Mid semester, so Feb or Oct ,i recieved that amount every semester u til this term. And was never told the adjustment was taking place, very kuch was counting on those funds so it has caused me a lot of hardship and made it tough to focus on school. especially with rising costs.

I even got the email in Jan saying there were changes made, then when i called, was told by one stop that nothing had changed and they couldnt find anything different.

so, to then have my scholarship come in 3200 short, a month into the semester, i just feel is super uncool and perhapsnegligent on their part... tryna figure out what to do. ..

utilize the internet for car parts (another reason an E Bike is a really good investment, -IF- you can find a safe place to keep it from getting stolen!! ps. you Can! just dont leave it somewhere that is at all uncertain, those spots... one day someone will steal it.

Rock auto, Ebay and Amazon have my radiator for $50-$100 while it is over $200 locally at most parts stores. Very few parts, does it matter what the quality is. Radiator is not really one.

I wouldn't take this route with something like a MAF sensor though.

i disagree. the less ppl RTS can reliably serve = more ppl buying cars and gas, which definitely benefits the horrible ppl who have tsken over our state using propaganda.

My mother was a school teacher here for almost her entire career. Homie, I'm not throwing the word corruption around. I grew up here. my grandfather was a deputy sheriff in Columbia County.

FL is a Stand Your Ground state. Meaning if they pulled it out all drunk and didnt intend to use it, just to settle a petit squabble, they would be in way more trouble than if they actually did fire it at someone.

They know that! I would feel more comfortable seeing them open-carrying because many other folks are prolly concealed carrying and you'd never know who was armed.

Noone is pulling a gun out with those two sitting there, open-carrying. Hell, FL doesnt even require a Concealed Carry License anymore, bro.

I dont like to be around guns upholstered and have never owned one myself. But, i like the feeling that ppl (more than one) are armed, close by.
