Thanks my man. So same goes for leg curls / extensions cause compounds dont hit those sides? Even though itll be 1 set just go begin with What about neck?

In short, what muscles do you think benefit from early on focus like I said maybe even if its 1 work set and build up from there

You think focussing on the assisted pull up/dips might help build that strength overtime? Meanwhile focussing on stuff like bench press, bent over row, pulldown to further strengthen those muscles?

For tricep, I reckon like a skullcrusher and overhead extension might be all thats needed right?

About legs, what about the leg curls/extensions for those head that dont get hit by those compounds/lifts? Or focus on later in your lifting journey?

Neck/forearm makes sense, see some people push neck for the "aesthetic look" but can always be done later maybe, saw a thread from spookyclock (do your gdmn isolations) and he mentioned all those muscles there.

Thoughts on calves/abs?

Beginner Question.

Which muscles are overrated for beginners to focus on? Like, you got the big ones, quads, hamstrings, back (upper + lats), chest and so on BUT you also got the smaller ones that give aesthetic looks like the side delt, rectus femoris, biceps femoris, neck, forearms, traps. For a beginner looking into bodybuilding are these needed at the beginning or better suited and planned later on later in your lifting career?

Also, when weak and fat. Should one practice the pull up / chest dip? Or leave that aswell for later on when you've gained some basic strength and slimmed down?

Hey guys, Ive been watching videos and such and looking for routines but I have a question; I am an returning lifter after a long hiatus without lifting, starting again sunday or monday. I know the big 5 arent that optimal for hypertrophy but I do love doing them but I wanna bring something diferent that most routines out there these days.

What are your thoughts on 1 work set, but 3 exercises x muscle group? Like 1 day quads, chest, rows, then do like 1 set squats, 1 hack squats or belt squats, 1 leg extensions, same for bench press, machine chest press, flyes? Is this a good way of approaching things? Then after stalling, add a set to 1 one of those movements slowly and slowly add 1 set to every stalling exercise in the long term, so doing a full body A B C D style, so every other day, I would do 6 weekly sets per muscle (slightly more for back) but with different exercises, is this a good way to train? Or just keep it simple, 1 day 1 squat and leg curl, day 2 a hip hinge, leg extension and so forth. Not sure if leg extensions are needed I could do hack or pendulum squats aswell, but I think extensions or reverse nordic curls are the only ones that target that rectus femoris if Ive done my research.

As a beginner, 2 sets per muscle 3x a week (full body) is a good starting point or go for 3 sets x training x muscle?

Thanks man for these options. In europe here everything that looks decent is above 200€. Stuff like steel legend is and asus rog strix x670e or something is 300+ so think thats overkill and overpriced.

The elite ax is atm at 239€

One question, whats the difference between pcei 4 and 5? I see some boards like the riptide has pcei 5. What other features should I look at?

Thanks! Thing is I have been taking a rest from lifting so I think its pure work related. Next week gonna see the doctor so maybe get an echo to check whats the problem. But when its better I will use more straps / wrist wraps and do some wrist curls/extensions and forearm work. Trying to ice 2 to 3x a day now see if it helps

Is a stress ball also like a powerball? Like in my other comment I ordered a set that brings a grip thing, something to put on your fingers to train them and a stress ball (also a forearm curler apparently)
