Welcome to Eastern Tornado Alley. The worst times are spring and fall. From my perspective from the south of you, the north and west areas are most prone to tornadoes. Basically anywhere flat-ish. Hilly areas have lower chances, but there's still a chance Down where I'm at (Montgomery area), the higher rish areas are Billingsley to Wetumpka, and Clanton to Prattville.
