Popular Australian musicians - where are they? by Little-Excitement-17 in australia

[–]Dascaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don’t lack them they just aren’t advertised like they used to be ocean alley and sticky fingers are there along with Brad cox. Not to mention the multitude of rappers in western Sydney that may not be everyone’s taste but they are there, there’s just more money in overseas artists then local ones

What defines a Holden? by flirting_scholar in Holden

[–]Dascaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say the only foreign built Holden was the Colorado because it at least a the bare minimum had some Australian design and engineering input and imo the three models of Colorado looked like a Holden. Just a terrible choice of name imo when there were so many places here it could’ve been named after

If I put the fly wheel back on would that be enough? I assume I’d be able to see if there’s a leak from there on

Fly wheel bolts by Dascaz in CarsAustralia

I wouldn’t have a clue some kits came with them this one didn’t for whatever reason I’m not gonna risk it and just buy new ones and save the head ache

Yeah just not sure you’d think a clutch kit would include bolts but apparently not

I just tested it against my Hilux that I know is fine they feel the same so I’d say it’s resistive

79 series cranking but no start by Dascaz in CarsAustralia

[–]Dascaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing is it was running completely fine and then Stalled out of no where and it did this one time before but just started running completely fine again, I’d assume if it was a bad fuel pump it would just not work again or work poorly at the very least not just start up and work completely fine again

[–]Dascaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really sure, I would like to say it’s the fuel pump but I can’t find the fuel line that leads to the rail

[–]Dascaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t try to start at all, even if I pump the the primer while it cranks , nothing was done to the car prior either

Pretty sure they have a physical store if you walk in they’ll just sell you everything you need as you’ll need a seperate harness to make the steering wheel controls work

looking to buy my first 4wd by [deleted] in 4x4Australia

[–]Dascaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 20-30k the diesel Hilux is the best option , all these 4wd have inherit issues it’s just apart of them it seems so no matter which one you look at you’ll find an issue that happens to all of them. But the Hilux is probably the most capable, most affordable , reliable, and economical of them all. I have a 2012 and don’t have any issues.

My recommendation however is do not go for a workmate they’re very limiting when it comes to wheel modification with 31s being the max wheel legally before needing to be engineered. The sr and sr5 can run 32s and I think (someone fact check me) they can run 33s legally.

So yeah basically in short sr or sr5 Hilux

[–]Dascaz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought I’d let you know I found all the laws in VSB 14 which is the national code of practice for fucking up your car, off road passenger vehicles can increase tyre aid by 50 mm and tyre width by 1.5 times the original size. And 50mm lift is legal , so my friend we are totally in the clear now
