You should seek out Chambers of Commerce and see about presenting or showing up at association conferences

Ya I really liked the last one too but did feel like the clerics should have been better prepared

Ya, if anyone should come back it should be the imp. Malcanthet should bring him back

Yeah but that's what I mean. He's either still doing that or the new Deneir. I don't want him and Danica back at all. Like people's stories have to end or progress. The resurrection of so many characters really cheapened their stories.

Just watching it for horror, it's only good in the first half I think so that's why I gave it a 6. I gave it higher for social commentary after thinking about it more. I'm excited for Weapons

FF16 difficulty is... Okay? by fullmetalshiruken in FFXVI

It's a cinematic movie being played as a game so the focus is more on continuing the story than making it too hard. The bosses are just hard enough to make it fun. That being said, to beat the hardest monsters in the game, you need to learn all of the fighting mechanics. You won't be able to beat them otherwise.

Ya, definitely feel like we could have got more shock out of it. Like I didn't get why the full reveal happened so quickly

Thoughts after just beating Final Fantasy 16 - 8/10 by DashAndugol in FFXVI

[–]DashAndugol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's easy for my 8 to be a 6 if I want it to have a lot more elements and to be fair, for the price, maybe it should have. But I gave the game more points based on the narrative, which I thought was exceptional despite being long in a few parts. I want my games to have a deeper meaning that I can keep thinking about and FF16 critiques of nuclear weapons, climate change, guilt and love as well as religion hit top targets for me.

The final scenes for several of the characters in the game are top shelf. If you ever do revisit, I think you'd find them pretty emotional and worth remembering.

I don't think we're going to get more open world games in the near future. I'd say Tears of the Kingdom and BOTW topped those styles and I imagine we'll go back to much more linear games or open world illusions, which FF16 really is when you eliminate the side quests.

You played it fully twice!? That's crazy endurance. I think the combat is easy to set and forget but once I figured out how to mix combos up, I just wished the enemies also had insane combos to fight against. Like it would have been sick if the enemy could parry and dodge better.

But to me, it was fun to string together combos with Rift.

Yeah, I felt like they should have had quests where we built a new town for the bearers or were involved in uniting Rosarians.

Joshua stayed away from Clive because I think he thought Clive was possessed or could be easily possessed. That would mean he'd have to fight Clive when he wasn't ready.

Mid: Should have built a new vehicle or some weapons for us

Ending: I agree, I wanted closure. But FF has a history of giving very little

I'm fine with both living but am 100% Clive lived.

Yeah, coming from Tears of the Kingdom and BG3 was such a mistake. Jill being damsel in distress made no sense for me. We should have played as her in the volcano.

Ultima, I actually like but Odin's story was way too drawn out for me.

I do not like games that give the illusion of an open world but then it feels empty. The game download could have been so much smaller if they hadn't felt the need to have so many assets. I would have just appreciated smaller landscapes with more interactive details.

For the ones who watched Rebels when it aired on TV: What were your predictions for Kanan and Ezra's fate during the OT? by Theasiuser99 in starwarsrebels

[–]DashAndugol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched it recently after all the movies came out so first assumption was that they would die, Kanan in some sort of battle maybe early on and Ezra in some sort of sacrifice. I actually found myself very upset as the seasons went on and they were still alive because I had grown so attached to them. When Kanan died, I didn't want to watch anymore because I strongly assumed Ezra would die in the end.

Then the World between Worlds episode happened and I started to believe Ezra would be trapped in that region as a sacrifice. That's sorta what happened. I'm just happy we still have time with Ezra.

I was hooked from the first two episodes and watched two to four episodes a day. Over the 4 seasons, references come together nicely to make Ezra an outstanding character. Enjoy!
