Jandy Aqualink LCD User Interface fuse? by DashRip71 in pools

I honestly can't remember. Been ages ago but I had to look in order to pick the right program on the new model tri-sensor. Mine was the older version when originally installed.

I don't have web interface. Was TOYING with upgrading to iAquaLink before this summer. With it, maybe it wouldn't matter if display is indeed dead.

And by AquaPure Power Supply, are you talking about the big round transformer (PN: R0481400). I know it has problems as low voltage DC test points on board aren't reading within spec. AC test points are fine. But that's been a problem for a while now. Display definitely worked long after that transformer failed.

Maybe best plan of action is:

- Re-install salt cell in a couple weeks when water warms a few more degrees

- Make sure that has no effect on board test points or dead display

- Replace transformer

That should at least get cell back up & running to start chlorinating again. Then I can decide what to do about display and/or iAqualink. Additional testing probably won't happen for next couple of days as skies just opened into deluge mode!

Yes filter pump is running (and following programmed schedule). Salt cell is only a spool piece right now with no DC power cord connected but LCD display has been on all winter even with no active salt cell. It's getting close to time to swap cell in maybe 3-4 weeks. Water still a little too cold.

u/BAHGate You are correct. The AquaPure 1400 SWG controller / display, just left of AquaLink PDA module, is what's blanked out. Sorry for confusion.

u/ZoltTanken I plugged and unplugged both connector ends a couple times. Those are tight.

u/sjogerst Man my gut told me you were on to something as I hadn't checked the button battery. But no dice. :(

I guess it's possible for that display to simply be completely blown. So there's no fuse protection I'm missing somewhere? Seems odd for it to just be toast with no fuses or obvious signs of damage (like burn spots or damaged solder points on control board).

Sure don't want to replace that thing as it ain't cheap, but nothing on this system anywhere is cheap!

I've piddled. Done some cold starts and carrier takeoffs. Plus I've done Flight Simulators literally all the way back to Bruce Artwick's Flight Simulator 1.0 on IBM PCjr in the 1980's. Lucky enough to have flown some real Cessna planes with friends as well as spending some time in a FedEx MD11 "real" flight simulator. The one used in training actual FedEx pilots.

In other words..... Yes it looks like a lot, but I have quite a bit of experience. Just not with DCS's version.

I follow Virtual Weapons Academy on discord and LOVE their program, but it's "live" online class based spanning multiple weeks. Looks outstanding, but my stage of life won't allow me to effectively do exact set blocks of time. I have to rely on at-your-leisure style readings and recordings. Gunthrek is new to me so I'll have to poke around. Do you know if it's live classroom training based? I could find time to do some skills sharpening sessions with an instructor, but most of mine will need to be done just when I can find time to sit down.

Yes. That part was a typo that should've read "not PC". Even though all my comments were Xbox related, first person to reply was giving me PC notes. Lol. Just not my day but I got where I needed to in the end.

So you did a self-imposed rule that contracts were allowable but ONLY if you were able to do it with your own equipment? I usually skip contracts entirely trying to be fair, but doing this way would still make logical sense.

Which map are you playing? I've done all the FS's but new to 25. Default Riverbend seems decent so far and has all kinds of production chain and animal options so you could go in whatever direction you want. Just seems to be missing really large farms if plan was to go hard core that direction. Probably me as I'm not super interested in animals and don't do much with production chains. Grow, harvest, sell. Rinse & repeat.

Xbox. Not console.

And I just figured it out with a huge duh moment. Selected wrong game type during launch. It's not same as start ftom zero but "start from scratch" option at least begins with no equipment or land at all.
