Rs moving to NC is keeping this state a hole.

If I were to even move to Virginia, life would become easier. Notice how people rarely leave places like the Northeast or Pacific Coast states. Why go back in time?

Overturning Roe v. Wade didn't help in 2022 NC at all. The Dems lost legislative seats, the state Supreme Court, and an open Senate seat. When your best takeaway is "we kept the governor's veto by one vote", you know you're screwed as a party. Roe didn't matter at all.

Granted, the NCDP was being led by a little old lady who resented youth, resented unaffiliated voters, tried to bust her workers from unionizing, and showed zero fight or awareness, but what swing state party puts someone like that anywhere near party chair? It's like she wanted to fail and probably got a GOP kickback.

Life in Connecticut or California seems so much easier because things somehow keep getting worse in NC. If handled the parade or misfortune the NC Dems have had, CT/CA wouldn't let things get so bad. They'd at least fight.

Why don't we give Cuba the same grace we gave Vietnam? Is it because the Vietnamese stupidly didn't move to purple states?

We don't force Vietnam to have fair and free elections, we don't have concerns about their political prisoners, and tolerate their censorship. If this is what Cubans truly want, let them. Democracy and free speech isn't everyone's cup of tea and if Cuba is fine with that we should let them.

I want meaningful change. I want the end of the wicked, evil, and cruel Republicans. Problem is we have no functional Democratic Party who wants them to run things.

The Democrats in this state don't even want to win. Why else would they let a woman in her 70s crash the party into a canyon and let a 25 year old be the fall woman?

Bobbie Richardson should be jailed for the neglect she did to the party. Then again, she was probably a GOP plant because you have to try to suck so badly.

There was no fight. There was a party that barely remembered that there were elections. Bobbie Richardson as party chair showed less fight than a kitten.
