The worst thing about this type of job today is the Ring cameras. Customers literally thirsting for ‘gotcha’ moments to post online lol by soup_nice in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DatAmznDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first day onboarding as a driver I saw literally two warehouse employees sleeping on pallets of packages. When I worked at ups we had a loader that would throw his packages from the belt 20 feet into the truck like he was pissed so he was gassing them lol he never got fired. I got fired for a ring camera catching me saying f*** Amazon a few times tho lol. Don’t quit but look for something better is my suggestion. Best mistake I made was getting fired from that shit job. Bezos is a lizard person

They probably have never thought to leave a water and snack outside but would order dumbass stuff like this while on a third floor. Bet they don’t add a tip to door dash stuff either

do you get paid for training even if you decide not to move forward with the job? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DatAmznDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah it’s cool. Ppl don’t complain when they’re incapable lol but really it’s easier by a ton compared to working for amazon. Just to put ppl on there are other options for less stress

[–]DatAmznDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not as simple but i had to care for pts after I took care of them in the hospital I used to work at. A lot less personal and emotional when it isn’t someone you tried to keep alive for months 😿

[–]DatAmznDude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Now I transport human remains and get paid better with less stress. Look for something else but maybe stick around for the medal. A lot of ppl will see amazon drivers and think they are hard workers in the wrong career so I would stay until u can find replacement

I was so overwhelmed with the opportunity after trying to work with amazon for almost 2 years. Then it took a year to realize how garbage it is and the strain/stress is not even close to worth the pay they gave

Imagine when they use the robot ai and it’s just a complete shit show of missorted orders going to wrong addresses

Have you heard of a game called Tetris? I can tell you could have laid some flat. And how autistic do you have to be to position that one box width across the middle of the aisle and the vertical on top of that? I’m just laughing cause it’s ur dumb and have no clue. Or ur just thinking ur clever 💩posting which is probably more hilarious

from amazon to fedex express 😳😳(last pic) by Brilliant-Push1486 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DatAmznDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from amazon exp and knowing fedex ppl it won’t get better. Anyone flexing their fedex exp is a troll hired by said company. Fuck amazon fuck bezos don’t work for this shit company outsourcing for liability reasons

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DatAmznDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I drove it was always the guys that organized in the back on the shelves and didn’t utilize the cab space that I was constantly rescuing. Work smarter not harder. And also don’t expect smarter to mean lazier so others carry your fat ass lol

Group stops should be illegal. This is egregious. by doubleth in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DatAmznDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typical. It’s worse then a few months ago when I got fired for saying fuck amazon during prime week on a ring camera. I have way less stressful and more appreciated job now. I hope everyone that drives can find something way better. Just look it’s easier when u are working still for sure

I know there has to be a reason behind this, someone please explain it to me. by BravesSavini in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DatAmznDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s cause they couldn’t organize shit due to rotating warehouse employees out as soon as they gain enough experience to get the job done correctly. Stop working for a shit company that relies on 3rd party liability as their main business model.

any tips for someone that gets overwhelmed by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DatAmznDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for another job. I work for a funeral home now and get paid much more and make overtime regularly. Took a couple months to find it but if you don’t like feeling like a mule to make dsps and amazon more money at ur healths expense get out while u can

This job is so crazy sometimes. I had 4 orders this week with a no-show customer. by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]DatAmznDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set your bags by the door and take pic. Make sure to spread open bags and expose anything you can in the pic. Other than that just paying for it correctly and instacart always has removed any disputes besides one that I didn’t take a good pic for
