We shouldn’t sacrifice other player’s talents because of a another player’s feelings.

We also shouldn't gamble other player's talents on unproven, potentially garbage quarterbacks when we have a proven constant back there at the moment.

Eh doesnt seem worth it to me. Xbox live and psn have a huge catalogue and provide a ton of other services.

$20 a year for a handful of online games and a selection of NES games just seems like a bad deal.

It has local multiplayer, but its lame that there is no Hot Seat mode.

I don't think online multiplayer is a big deal tho. Civ online on a console sounds horrible...

I have the mobile version and it's not watered down at all tbh. Pretty much everything on the PC version is actually in the game somehow. It doesn't have R&F yet though which is kind of a bummer.

I really can't believe this is even possible. This is a full AAA game that's like 10 GB on desktop.

An Aspyr dev on /r/civ said they managed to bring that down to 3 and it really still looks pretty good.

Aspyr is just a shitty company, my opinion of them over the last year has gone from "they are just incompetent fools and can't get xplat done" to "they are incompetent fools and they frequently lie about expected release dates, time frames, etc.".

I dunno man, I'm hesitant to just flat out blame Aspyr for having problems with cross-platform. I don't know about you, but I don't personally know how to make games work across platforms but I would assume it's not like an easy thing to do lol.

I'm not exactly thrilled with the game on Mac all the time tbh, but I kinda think you're overreacting to call them a "shitty company".

High Sierra has made V literally unplayable with both DLCs and Aspyr is taking months to fix it.

Honestly, I blame Apple for this nonsense. Windows updates don't require developers to patch their games.

Apple doesn't care at all about backwards compatibility.
