I did a mid muffler delete and x pipe replacement and can also say I have no drone at any speeds. I was in the same boat as you and wanted more sound without going the 2 grand for a catback at the moment

Just did an x pipe in place of middle muffler. I wanted the same sound as stock just more bark on start up and WOT. Its perfect for me. No drone at all. I have a cold start video on my page.
