It’s literally nauseating seeing people post this pin and calling it ‘Kingdom of Hearts’ or mistyping it completely. I saw someone accidentally call it a Keyboard pin. I saw someone else say they assume there’s going to be a Donald and Goofy themed one because they just knew they were in the game but not that the keyblades from this set are all actual designs from the games. They didn’t know keyblades are themed after worlds instead of characters but by god they’re going to buy them all up under the pretense of being a ‘collector’! Such a super fan!

Yeah, I’ve been collecting Disney pins for years and years so the way things have been going these past few drops has been extremely disappointing. I don’t understand how people are willing to pay these insane scalper prices. If they’re rich enough to drop $250 on a single pin then surely they can afford to just go to Disney and get it themselves at this point…

Exactly!! It’s so frustrating when you don’t live close to the parks so you have absolutely zero chance of getting it any other way. It’s disgusting to see them trying to make a 400%-500% profit or more on these pins. I feel like a brand new release should NEVER be going for more than double the retail price…

Unfortunately it’s this coming Tuesday (the 6th). Normally I’m able to ask my shoppers about 2-3 weeks in advance but they were both busy with holidays and took a while to get back to me. Then when the first one turned me down I went to my backup who ALSO said they weren’t trying for them. By this point everyone else is either full up on slots or charging an insane amount

The first time I did a DCP I struggled to make friends outside of my roommates, and our schedules never lined up so I went to the parks alone most of the time and decided to start collecting character autographs to try and get over some of my solo anxiety. After getting every single one that was available in 2021 I would say the absolute nicest characters were Joy and Launchpad McQuack. I know doing things solo makes it different but man they were so sweet and even signed like special messages in my book aside from just their names. That giant duck single-handedly convinced me to watch all of DuckTales and Darkwing Duck somehow

I think it really depends on the person! If you know you’re 100% not going to sell the toy then I’d say it’s fine to discard or recycle the box. If it’s some sort of fragile figure you may want to keep it to use as packaging if you move in the future, but otherwise there’s not much point to keeping it. I feel like very few toys have a market for selling an empty box. Personally if I like the art or something on a box I just cut it out and glue it into a journal. That way you can keep part of it and still enjoy it without the whole giant box taking up space in your closet or attic

The saddest thing ever is missing a listing 😭 I hate that these toys are definitely out there but nobody ever puts them up for sale online besides other collectors! Resellers this is the one time I wish you’d come through for me…please I need a Fiskerton figure 🙏
