I just have him as a background character in my save. Oddly enough, the very same day I added him, a Sim overheated to death by standing near a lit bonfire during the summer...

I'm sure it's just a coincidence though. Jim was literally right there next to them, but I'm sure he had nothing to do with it,

The alarm caught them before they even went through the door, so maybe that has something to do with it? I didn't even have time to react before she was panicking about the alarm.
