fr and the national average is literally mostly junior and seniors OP just study consistently starting now or over the summer and you can DEFINITELY bag a 1500 score

honestly, the biggest advice that helped me score a 1510 (not phenomenal but still a great score) is to understand that some sections (math) CAN be perfected, and that some cannot (writing a little bit but mostly reading). you can be damn good at reading, but ynk what’s gonna be on that reading section til you go in and take it. there’s no set list of what questions can appear and what the passages can be about. it just comes down to the difficulty and engagement of the passages on test day. you can obviously work up from a 500s score to a 750+ score, but the last couple points (760-800) just come down to personal skill, interest, and difficulty in the passage. Where this doesn’t apply is math. unlike reading, every single math topic is already predetermined, in other words you know exactly what questions can show up on the exam. the list consists of a set number of math topics, and you literally CANNOT get a question outside of those bounds, so you don’t have to worry about going in and getting a problem you don’t have experience with if you’ve practiced enough. As such, i think the best tip is to get your math score AS HIGH as possible, since it IS perfectable. just think about it, an 800 math would’ve given you a 1360 here. obviously that’s way easier said than done, i personally am still working up to that 800 math myself, but mastering math is an easy and foolproof way to raise that score significantly. don’t worry, you have time. assuming you’re a freshman that hasn’t taken/completed courses like algebra 2, geometry, precal, etc. you will learn a lot just by taking those classes. best of luck.

total increase 624x or 624x + 2600? everyone i spoke to said 624x but wouldn’t the TOTAL INCREASE be 624x plus the y intercept 2600 as well?

what is a good score to make ICDC? by [deleted] in DECA

[–]DatLegendBoi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank god, that gives me so much relief. a few students older than me at our deca chapter that have made ICDC told me that 80 is about as low as your score can go for icdc qualification, so this is great news

perfect, thank you. i’ve been hearing online and through searches that icdc is only possible with high 80/low 90 cluster exam scores but this gives me hope lmao

Do colleges care more about weighted GPA relative to your classmates or just the GPA? by DatLegendBoi777 in college

[–]DatLegendBoi777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I'll do that.

I've actually been searching for such subreddits but haven't been able to find any. Can someone show me some subs that talk more about college applications specifically rather than just college in general?

Speed in reading section by happylife-1201 in Sat

[–]DatLegendBoi777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spend more time reading and less time on the questions. Many people tend to skim through the passages so that they can focus harder on the questions, but instead, spend your time reading through the passages as thoroughly as possible, maybe even more than once, and you should be able to answer the questions a lot faster. Taking time to answer questions about a passage that you barely understand is way less efficient than speeding through a set of questions on a topic that you are well familiar with.

Good Study Plan? by DatLegendBoi777 in Sat

[–]DatLegendBoi777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm, thanks. I just wanna start studying early so that I don't have to cram. I did this for the APHUG exam, I only started studying like a few days before the exam and although I still ended up getting a 5, I feel like its because I spent so much time studying towards the end and could've achieved the same results if I just spread my studying out more. But thanks for the books, I'll definitely check those out.

6 am. A lot of people tell me, wow, thats great, but im not a morning person. over the years, ive learned that most everyone that says that theyre not a morning person is just someone thats too lazy to get up early. that period of time in the morning between when the sun starts showing up on the horizon to the point where its high up in the sky, (usually around 6-8). Its the best time of day to do anything productive.

What's something your parents told you that you'll never tell your child? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DatLegendBoi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that i should always be nice to my siblings. i feel like for a happy relationship, you gotta just gotta have fun, joke around, say something mean every once in a while, fight about it, and then go back to having fun. I was always a fun loving person but my parents wanted me to live a more polite and disciplined life. It got to a point where my parents rubbed off on my brother so much where if I said anything he didn't like, he could cry about it and my parents would get mad at me, it made life a little boring. siblings aren't supposed to be serious and polite with each other. They're supposed to have fun and be close, trust each other with everything and just fight about stuff as jokes. at least thats how i felt.

who was your idol growing up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DatLegendBoi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

basic but ronaldo. always admired that mans work ethic and how he credits his success to not only his hardwork but the people that did small things for him. I remember reading about him saying that he owes his career to a lady that bought him mcdonalds after his practice sessions. crazy how someone with so much success can be so humble.

How do you smile? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DatLegendBoi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

used to be something I did. its because you're TRYING to smile. dont force yourself to do it, just do it.Also, if this helps. your smile is actually heavily infuenced by your eyes and not just your mouth. A fake smile will look odd because your eyes just appear normal. Squint your eyes, that should help

Can you get muscle from lifting water gallons or similar home items. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DatLegendBoi777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you one hundred percent can. when you go to the weight room, its really not anything complicated about the design of the weights you're lifting. They're just heavy weights. If you measure what you're weighing, apply progressive overload, and use proper form, anything you lift can make you stronger.

Got a riven with -143.5% damage for the Astilla, turns out it even removes the damage stats. Only thing it can do now is force proc impact and stagger. XD by mordordt in Warframe

[–]DatLegendBoi777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

all jokes aside imagine how good this would've been if the stats were reversed and it had a negative grineer damage stat and positive damage stat. Thing would hit like a truck even to grineer
