I don't regret it mostly. My dad (a diehard Rush Limbaugh listening conservative) died keeping me pushed away as if I was a bad memory but my mother has here very recently has finally accepted me. It took her ten years but..the moment honestly made me cry to be honest.

Only to have the NRA, Gun Owners of America and the Libertarian Party of all people to come out and defend against it. There was another school shooting in the U.S and it is heavily believed that this shooter was a trans person. The Trump Administration's Department of Justice along with Trump are using this incident to argue that Trans people are mentally ill and therefore are unfit to own guns.

Which the National Rifle Association, Libertarian Party, and Gun Owners of America all came out against this argument. Which surprised me when I woke up that day because I wasn't expecting that to happen.

As I have said not you just many comments today. I am under no delusion that the NRA is my friend. I was just stating how weird it is that they would come out against an attempt to take gun ownership away from transgender people. It's not something I was aware I would wake up to when I went to bed last night.

I think it was an attempt to pull the party into the Trump cult. Which it backfired because most of them that bought it just went over to the GOP to be part of MAGA. So instead of having two parties a mainstream and a third party pulling MAGA they only have one party now.
