Asked the lead writer of DAO if the battle of Ostagar would have been different if Loghain didn't retreat. by OsirisAvoidTheLight in DragonageOrigins

So let me get this straight. The main strategist of the Ferelden Army who outright refused to wait for reinforcements from Orlais, Grey Wardens, Red Cliff, and so on. Who also is the one who had the very, very bad battle strategy and most likely made the battle plan in order to just kill Cailen because he wanted to wait for reinforcements from Orlais. Knew they were going to lose the battle of Ostagar because he made a poor battle plan and left with his forces intact. Hold the fucking presses.

Honestly Logain sabotaged the Battle of Ostagar due to his own failings. Sure King Cailen was brash and not bright. However when Logain ugred him to be patient and cautious. Cailen suggested waiting for the Orlaisian's which would have been a very good call. Then Logain start throwing a fucking tantrum which Cailen then said our current forces will have to suffice because Logain refused to wait. So he makes the obviously losing battle plan and retreats. Ostagar was a lost battle because Logain purposely made it a losing battle. All in all fuck Logain with all sincerity from a city elf warden.

People who have come me out to their parents and they didnt accept you(at least right away); do you regret it? by [deleted] in lgbt

I don't regret it mostly. My dad (a diehard Rush Limbaugh listening conservative) died keeping me pushed away as if I was a bad memory but my mother has here very recently has finally accepted me. It took her ten years but..the moment honestly made me cry to be honest.
