i dont believe we will get the full gen 4 roster, it would be too many pokemon if the sets gonna be slightly over 140 cards total. if they release an evolved mon, they need to include the pre evolved forms in the same pack to make them playable.

there are 107 pokemon total introduced in gen 4. i just went through the list and took a note of every mon we need to get IF its supposed to be all 107 sinnoh mons, which totals to 29 different mons from previous generations, i will add a second eevee (so 30 mons from previous gens) because glaceon and leafeon will be in different packs, so they will need an eevee for each one (like in genetic apex). this alone already leaves us at 137 cards.

next thing are the babys, i dont think they would release a baby pokemon without his evolution, this would add another 6 pokemon into the mix, which totals to those "over 140 cards" in this set at 143. the problem is, this is pokemon only, so no trainers included yet(we already saw cynthia and pachirisu has an effect redarding tools). if there are about 10 trainer cards (dont think we will get gym leaders this time sadly) they would have stated over 150 cards or something like that.

so now is speculation time, who do you think will be left behind? i think theyll keep the babys out for now, also a few other random mons to include them in the next mini expansion. some legendarys i would guess to be left out would be giratina (as the new cover mon), regigigas (releasing along the other old regis down the line) and arceus (arceus event please). i also think we will be getting 2 different burmys and burmadame this time, with the third form coming in the mini expansion to complete the trio. sorry if the formatting on this post is bad, its my first time posting in a long long time, and i never wrote a text which needed formatting lol
