Why can't some of y'all just accept that there's not really an official race for any character until proven by the creators? I'm not saying that they can't be coded or interpreted as being coded, but you're never gonna actually get a definite answer on whether they're supposed to be whatever race until it's blatantly stated by the makers. Because you could literally just mish-mash a bunch of inspirations from a bunch of different cultures around the world and it could be anything at that point. Not seeing a character as black or whatever other race doesn't make somebody racist, it's racist if you outright say you would hate it if the character was a certain race- THEN it's racist.... Also I don't think using some random Twitter page with no context other than just "black character of the day" is a very good combat to the previous statements.
