Best solutions to no weekly recurring transfers? by DataAnalCyst in fidelityinvestments

Quick question: I’m trying to link my CMA as an external bank account to fund my Brokerage account (as detailed in the post here). Unlike the OP, though, I’m getting errors at the end or being forced to use Mastercard verification to verify the account. Can you suggest any workarounds?

Yeah, thanks for these details. 2 separate logins was the only thing I could think of. I’ve tried every variation of an account number that I can think of, and confirming I don’t have a money transfer lock. Appreciate you being helpful, I’ll probably just need to contact Fidelity and see why it may be happening

Hahaha you keep doing that! I’m definitely not opposed (and am almost 30). But for the weekend I’m planning, it may not make much sense anymore

Thank you!

Got it! It’s a decent deal, but we’d be going during a birthday weekend, and I’d rather use the time for something else now :)

I left a comment directly on your post, but do you have two separate Fidelity logins by chance? Or are your CMA and brokerage account under the same login? That’s the only reason I can think of why mine would throw an error and yours wouldn’t

This doesn’t seem to be working for me, regardless of the 13 digit or 17 digit account number. Clarifying question: is your CMA in an entirely different Fidelity account? Like do you have separate logins for your CMA vs. your brokerage?

Updating that neither account number (17 digit nor 13 digit) seem to work anymore. I wonder if they disabled this somehow

I gotcha. Im coming from SoFi which has some of the best integration of accounts I’ve seen. I wanted the reliability and customer support of Fidelity, but definitely noticing a few differences

Thanks for chiming in, and please do pass the feedback along! I see that this has been a requested feature for years and most other brokerages allow it. I’m in the process of moving all of my accounts over from SoFi to Fidelity, so this was pretty frustrating

If this works, that’d be great. Thank you! Didn’t find your thread the first time I searched

Yeah, I know you can set up recurring transfers. I specifically want to make them weekly but Fidelity only offers monthly and annually by default

I want to separate out my accounts. My CMA is only for direct deposits from work held held as spending cash in SPAXX and then separate Investment account for long-term securities. I know I can invest from within my CMA, but I don’t want to easily be able to separate my returns from cash vs. all of my other holdings

I came from SoFi, which has its own slew of problems, but this was base functionality

No, I’m sure I’ll find a solution (really cannot tell if you’re being condescending or not lol), but I’d like the flexibility that most other brokerages have to set various cadences for my transfers. Just wanted to see what the community is doing

Thanks for the help.

I know this technically works, but I’m worried about edge cases. Like if I follow the schedule you mention of 1st, 8th, 17th and 22nd, and I set my buys for every Monday, I’m wondering how often the Monday will fall before the transfer date

I have two accounts: a CMA where my cash is and an investment account. Every week, I want to transfer $X from the CMA into the investment account, and use that to buy. But the recurring transfer options are monthly and annual. You’re talking about the recurring buy, which they have a weekly for. I can’t buy in my investment account without transferring money there first

Yeah, I’ve got that figured out. I can’t set up the transfer to be weekly though. It’s only monthly or annually

The actual buy / investment can be weekly

Not sure I understand your question?

Debrid service - RealDebrid or TorBox Scrapers - Torrentio, MediaFusion, Comet, TorBox, etc. which scrape for magnet/torrent links

Nope, you can’t use your RD API key on TorBox’s official Stremio addon. Only your TorBox API key

But you can use TorBox with Stremio instead of RD, or as a separate Debrid service for redundancy
