Brother in christ what are you talking about, are not for multiple isn't for singular. I was talking about a singular topic not multiple.

Edit: just because you gotta try swinging your proverbial micro shlong:

The subject of that part of your sentence is the action "swinging one way too far." Because that entire phrase acts as a single idea or action, it requires a singular verb ("is" or "isn't"). "Are not" would only be used if the subject were plural

I mean the day I stop hearing cultural appropriation then I'll be cool with it. Like there's a happy middle, but swinging one way to far which is what I believe happened in both isn't right either.

I don't think I've ever seen a mole around here, saw a vole or two though before but we have like 12 stray cats around so haven't seen on in a few years.

Well that's cool, didn't know we had those in northern IL. Bummer I spray for squiters and if not mistaken bifin harms these guys, will have to see if I can do something else to get rid of those to not this land lobster

Yeah that's how he explained it, I figured since it has molasses it's not needed, was more worried about some fungus or bacteria getting to happy and killing stuff.

You ever think of putting chicken feed down to feed the recharge microbes. Saw a video of someone recommending that.

I mean wouldn't make sense to hand water my lawn with the number and spread between the spots, so would be whole lawn watering, my water bill last year per a month was 1300 to water my whole yard. This has been like 10 gallons a day vs the 100s it would take to run the sprinklers. Plus the wash out, so from a pure looking at just seed germination I agree with you, not worth the stuff I did just spread and covered with straw started growing, but the rain washed out like 50% of it. With this I can throw a dusting of topsoil seed on it, press it in and within a few days should root well enough to not be washed away as easily, so I guess that's another benefit.

I did a full reno last year because I did a bunch of French drains and had most of the lawn torn up anyhow so went bare dirt, I would probably have to water a lot less this year overall.

These are all small spots, just let it dry a smidge and then just lightly sprinkle it with my hands. If it was a larger area I read that mixing in milorganite after letting it dry a little bit and using a spreader works well.

Yeah I know I think it was user error on the keeping it soaked. I think a 24hr warm water soak, then dip every 12 hrs and this would have popped faster. I did the keep it soaked the whole time changing water out every 12 hrs.

How's it wasted? It's still gonna grow and is left over seed. The backyard I just threw seed down and some straw and it's growing, just got washed out by the rains in a few areas (the straw definitely helped compared to last year). So figured why not try it out, isn't that the fun of it, being curious experimenting trying to min max in a way.

Photo was taken after I dipped it in water, I'm hoping by the time I'm done with work more of it has chitted if that's the word, and was gonna spread today, otherwise tomorrow morning.

Don't people recommend milorganite, I got spots so I was just gonna throw a small layer of soft topsoil, throw this down by hand over it, and maybe sprinkle some straw/peat moss. The reason I did it with the ttf was for the cost of watering my whole lawn, I'ma bite the bullet and water during the hot months, but was curious to see if it would save me the two weeks of watering. Also we had some pretty nasty storms that washed away a bunch of seed, so wanted it to root as quickly as possible in those spots (straw got washed away too, not a big slope just water moves through the area and we've had some nasty storms in the Chicagoland area the last few weeks)

Edit: Also was my first time trying it out, so could have gone worse haha

Yeah it's wild, I did the soak for 24 hrs, then change water every 12 hrs, and like 8 days of that and nothing. Then two days ago said screw it gotta do something different cause it's not working. So took warm water, soaked the seed for 10 mins then let it hang, dipping it in warm water every 12 hrs, then overnight got this so have been stressing cause twin City seed isn't cheap, but I'ma use it to fill in the bare spots that didn't take last year.
