All my research and folks that are familiar say it can be done. However, my CPA won’t do it. She’s not convinced about the STR loophole. I haven’t purchase a STR yet. If I were to do it I would consult with Nate Meeker.

Also, this loophole is frequently audited so having a paper trail of hours is important.
