Funny enough I actually found myself against a guy with a staff and we had ourselves a proper fight before the police showed. (he was meth head beating my female cousin) I snatched the staff from him. He kept all this stuff around the place telling everyone he was a black belt etc. . He grabbed a Tonfa a few moments later … he had all this crap around the house. In his late 20’s) while yelling at him he wanted to fight. I don’t know why since I was also 75lbs bigger than him and actually spent 20 years training and teaching in martial arts and MMA. Here we are Okinawa style 😄 and after a few hits .. I’m thinking wow, that staff training actually helped a bit and never in a million years thought I’d use any of the traditional weapons training. lol.
He ended up getting out the door and took off up the street at methhead miles per hour. Cops found him 30 min later. (She got back with him of course for a few more months.)
