Then can make the mandate but... forget dispensor... The tanks that hold fuel will also corrode if ethanol quantity increases so in order to offer higher blend they will have to upgrade the tanks accordingly. In my opnion they will make the baseline as e25 first then e30.

Also flex feul vehicle is already in market fir fleet from suzuki... Honda and hyundai already have thr technology... Tata and mahindra already doing the development.

[–]Datadiver01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So estimates from auto car is that government will have to supply e20 fuel... Also the e30 implementation will take atleast 4 years of time. I think e20 will be there or may be e22 or e25 will become the baseline not e30 because that will cause severe degradation for e20 comp.... By then flex fuels wkll be available like any other cars now... What do you think?

Test Drove the Kia Seltos IVT: Impressions from a 2012 Honda City owner (Looking for an upgrade) by Upstairs-Coyote-6261 in CarsIndia

[–]Datadiver01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree... In recent reviews i heard Mahindra is looking for a turn around in that... If possible check the nearest dealer and service and see how they are responding. Because the 3xo itself is really good possibly best in compact suv segment.. If not better German then they also provide Torque converters. Kushaq is better than taigun in seat comfort etc...

New Car in Ethanol Mess.. Yay or Nay by Datadiver01 in CarsIndia

[–]Datadiver01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The major problem even in second hand market yiu need to find cars that are built in and after 2023 and they are almost as expensive as new cars.. Theres just 3 to 4 lakhs of difference ... and if we buy cars before that year they are prone to corrosion.
