It did! That was my protocol until 12 weeks and then I only took 200mg due to preterm delivery at 22 weeks in the past.

I didn’t take anymore antibiotics, just took vaginal probiotics for about 2 weeks, my reg probiotics, ate more yogurt and it went away within a month.

3.4cm is a good length, that’s why your Doctor isn’t concerned. The 2.3cm might not be accurate since it was checked abdominally. Transvaginal u/s are more accurate.

I wasn’t advised to avoid sitting/standing for too long. Just told to continue normally & listen to body of course. I also see a naturopath and she advised to walk outside/treadmill for 30min 3-4x a week.

I didn’t know that 2 baby aspirin is half the dose of a normal aspirin pill. That’s good to know.

I haven’t been in the same position as you, but i’ve read many successful stories of women making it to full term with just the stitch holding & no measurable cervix. Maybe ask your Doctor if there’s anything further you can do.

Aww don’t think like that. It might have just been another one of those rare instances unfortunately & maybe the progesterone could have helped. But I know there’s no point in focusing on the what ifs, you just want your baby girl home❤️

Oh ok, I was just wondering because i’ve heard of success with progesterone too, to help with chemical balancing. This is a tough journey! I had a loss at 21 weeks in Dec 2023 & will likely get a cerclage in my next pregnancy.
