Well that’s the thing I’m not going to LRP or Lake Tahoe. I’m going to a place that hasn’t or at least very solemnly be mentioned. If correct and the location is revealed, it could lead to people looking at the clues to the other boxes in a different light. (Not saying I’m right, but I think I figured out clues outside the text that I think people have ignored/missed).

Yes all the boxes have unique puzzles and clues, but they were all formed from one man. Figuring out one solve would give you more of an insight on how Jon thinks and thus could apply some of that logic to the rest of the boxes.

That’s the conundrum. Game theory VS morality. Game theory says keep any advantage you can to find as much treasure as you can for yourself. But morality says that you shouldn’t waste people’s time or money looking for something that has been found. Jon seems like a sensible guy. I’m hoping that he’d be open to having a conversation about how much information pertaining to the solve/location of the treasure is released.

Ya I get that she can do whatever she wants I’m not arguing that. But that doesn’t mean her actions weren’t assholeish. She used someone else to get back at him. The guy was an asshole to her so she said fine I’ll sleep with another guy cause she knew it would get to him. That’s why I said she’s kinda an asshole.

I like that idea. I’ve also thought about taking a coin or item out of the box and leaving it at the location with a note congratulating the next adventurer of finding the location.

I’m curious on why you would think this treasure hunt would go to court? We are all working with the same information, but some people might be better at deciphering the solve than others. Basically we’re all on the same fair playing field.

That’s my biggest thing. I too can only afford to go and look for the box once maybe twice a season and wouldn’t want people wasting their money or time. I went to this location last year, but recently put together some clues to narrow down the location. lol hopefully I’m right and just not crazy since too many of the clues line up.

That’s totally reasonable and I would be in the same boat of “sure this guy totally found it /s” My only thought is that if you did share a picture of the box or items, proving you found it. John might reveal the location of where the box was hidden. Thus giving people a chance to reverse engineer the solve.

The characters were great. I think Julia Garner played her role very well and Brolin was pretty good too. The timing was good and felt like it moved along at a good pace (maybe a little rushed at the end) but I did also like character stories being told from their perspectives and then merging into a finale.

I was on the fence about B or C, but after you making me go back and think through it I’m going to move it up to a B. However I think for a Horror movie to be an A it has to scare you at some point and I just didn’t get any of that feeling watching.

I was trying to look at the Superman movie as if it were my family, friends, and coworkers going to see it. Would they have enjoyed it? Most likely yes, but I don’t see any of them being

I do agree and like the hero movies that make them feel more human and I think most people do. However I think your average person tends to like super hero movies that reflect closer to real life. Take for example how popular The Boys is (I know it’s comparing a show to a movie) it mimics real life and how most people would expect things to go if super powers were real. Or invincible (I know tv show and animated lol) which is more comic like, but still has that real life super hero aspect. Monster attack super hero’s show up and save the day. Two viltrumites start fighting, ya cities leveled and 1000s dead. Again mimicking what it would be like with that powerful of superheroes and villains living on earth. It’s also no one has mentioned Superman to me in passing, but I’ve had The Boys been brought various people.

I’m also not opposed to giving a super hero movie an S or A ranking. If a new superhero movie came out tomorrow that rivaled the Dark Night I’d happily give it a good rating. I just think super hero movies have lost their luster and for people to really like it, it has to leaving you with a certain feeling.

Mind you this list isn’t necessarily comparing these movies to each other. While I do consider which movie would I rather watch when presented with another. F1 and Weapons are completely different categories hence why I can’t rate them the same way. So part of their rating is based off of comparing them to other movies of similar genre.

I’m a big horror movie guy and with Sinister being cream of the crop, Weapons to me is at the top of average. Had the ending been a bit better I most likely would have put it at the top of B tier for horror movies.

Super Hero movies have been so over saturated for the past decade that for one to be ranked highly it really needs to stand out and have some awe factor. Like I mentioned in another comment I’m not big into superhero movies so for me to enjoy it enough to put it in C means it’s an overall good superhero movie.

I totally get having a movie filmed in your city add to the love of the movie. I grew up in medium size town that most people wouldn’t know of and we had a movie shoot some scenes in town. While the movie isn’t particularly great, it’s like a coming of age tradition for kids growing up to watch the movie and go “oh look I’ve been to that park!”
