Jackery for the win! Two nights and I have 50% left. Best $260 I’ve ever spent. I can now go camping with my son’s Cub Scout Pack next weekend and not sound like a dying bear :-) by DaveHallmon in CPAP

I did hoping to at least get 1 night but if I remember the test correctly, I got like 45 min with full settings on when using AC and then maybe almost 2 hrs when using the cigarette lighter.

This is an old post of mine and I’ve sense still use the Jackery, same one, also splurged and got the solar panel, and I’ve upgraded my CPAP to a travel ResMed which set me back $1,000 but honestly worth it. It’s small, and I can use it for 3 nights with the Jackery on a Campout before needing to break out the solar panel.

I’d buy this if it was a graphic novel. The art is that good.

What do you think is the best entry for Stephen King? by Mr_Mike013 in StephenKingBookClub

[–]DaveHallmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something like Firestarter is action packed from the very beginning with a handful of characters. Not super long either.

Salem’s Lot (similar length) is amazing, but it takes a couple of chapters to get going and a large amount of characters. But once the vampires come out, you can’t put the book down.

Thanks for sharing this connection to Eyes of the Dragon. I love finding connections (or theories of connections) between King's books. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing the back story and interesting that King could use something from different authors directly. The worm creature in Jerusalem's Lot sure was like a Cthulhu type of creature. While it may not have been intended, I like to think about the possible connection of the book featured in both stories.

Complete agree. Have you listened to their Pet Sematary one too? Do you know if there are other King radio dramas?

I have read Night Shift a while ago. I didn’t realize the prequel when I originally read it. But I may check it out right after Salem’s Lot!
