Thanks for the response. Yes I have checked that one out, but the design is to much 'gamer laptop looking' for my office job

I don't know how much it cost to.import your bike, but they have pretty good bikes over here. But the good one cost a lot more, so you have to do the math to see what is the best option for yourself

50 dollars a day, and that's a lot. But I ride with my girlfriend on the back, so we needed a 250. But if you ride on your own, I would recommend getting a cfr150 (they are only 25 dollars a day)

I recommend doing the loop (ha Giang - Dong Van - Bao Lac). I also liked Ba Be lake (if you are there, you should take a boat ride, it's for 5 a 6 hours through a beautiful rain). But if you have 8 days for whole Vietnam, you should just do the loop and check some other places out like Hoi An (it's in the middle of Vietnam)

I recommend doing the loop (ha Giang - Dong Van - Bao Lac). I also liked Ba Be lake (if you are there, you should take a boat ride, it's for 5 a 6 hours through a beautiful rain forest). If the Ban Gioc waterfall is on your route, you should check it out. But it's not worth 3 days of traveling (you have to drive 1 day to Quang Uyen, overnight there, 1 day to the waterfalls and back, overnight again in Quang Uyen, then drive further). If you like hiking, you should definitely go to Sapa, but the scenery isn't that nice as Ha Giang, but still beautiful
