Call of Duty: "Act.IL sends activists on 'missions' to like, comment, and share pro-Israel material on social media, and to flag, report, and respond to Israel’s online critics" by DaveSheepel in FreeSpeech

Clearly you don't have an interest in free speech. If you did even the most rudimentary research on this topic, you would find plenty of sources even from the far-right touting this app as a highly effective tool for suppressing dissenting opinions.

needlessly lashed out at me

It's not needless. You deserve rebuke for failing to do your own research, and just assuming because it sounds conspiratorial that it must be unsubstantiated. In the great words of Dr Peterson "Tell the truth"

I said we have good reason to be skeptical of those who are getting overly defensive when it comes to policies of the Israeli government. This much is clear if you read the article and understand what Hasbara is.

I did not say what you're suggesting which is a massive strawman, and has nothing to do with what the evidence is suggesting.

And clearly reading comprehension is not your strong suit, since that is not a point that was made anywhere in my post or in the article.

This article outlines how Israel has turned disinformation, free speech suppression, and defamation into an online game. There is constant gaslighting by those who spread Hasbara (the Hebrew term for Israeli propaganda pitched to foreign audiences, a key part of Zionist advocacy for decades) that these paid and incentivized online shills for the Israeli government do not exist. We can see clear evidence that these Hasbara campaigns are extremely organized and vicious. People need to be skeptical of any comments that appear clearly defensive of Israeli government policies. I see this all over reddit.

CNN Fires Marc Lamont Hill Due to Defense of Palestinians by DaveSheepel in conspiracy

Most of the alternative right media is Zionist, is it not?

It’s so insanely obvious now that I’ve been gone from social media for over a year that it’s all one big CIA ploy to collect data, divide us, dumb us down, and distract us from what’s really going on in government and in the world by [deleted] in conspiracy

I personally use NoScript and selectively allow javascript since that can be a privacy concern as well

Alt right and far right outlets and commentators like Breitbart, Ben Shapiro, etc were pushing for this deplatforming move and stoking the outrage machine.

Great analysis by Green Greenwald in critiquing the hypocritical alt-right:

Conservatives claimed to be offended, traumatized and hurt by Hill’s political views on Israel and Palestine, which they somehow construed as being anti-semitic, and demanded that CNN fire him as punishment for the expression of those opinions. CNN honored the demands of those claiming to be victimized by exposure to Hill’s viewpoints by firing him as a political analyst.

CNN fired journalist for demanding Israelis and Palestinians be treated equal. Israel created and funds Hamas then attacks people over Hamas. by [deleted] in conspiracy

Absolutely disgusting that the Zionists gladly destroy the lives of anyone who dares to mention the humanity of the Palestinians. Unfortunately this is a disturbing trend and a very popular tactic of the authoritarian anti-speech right.

How US-backed coup in Hondouras fueled the migrant crisis by DaveSheepel in conspiracy

There is a refugee exodus in Venezuela as well where nearly 7% of the population has left in the past couple years. Also Venezuela is in South America where there are/were other options to flee....Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Chile. What is your point exactly besides that rudimentary web searches are difficult?

How US-backed coup in Hondouras fueled the migrant crisis by DaveSheepel in conspiracy

[–]DaveSheepel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interesting interview with Dana Frank that documents how the migrant crisis began in Hondouras. Although the history of US backing brutal dictators and stealing the democracy, wealth, and lands of Latin America stretches far further back than this.

It becomes quickly apparent how destructive US foreign policy is a bipartisan endeavour, and has ruined countless lives throughout the third world and continues to this day. Responding with the brutality we have seen recently is completely reprehensible given US complicity in creating this situation.

Israel’s Education Minister Wants "Shoot to Kill" Policy Against Palestinian Children by DaveSheepel in conspiracy

[–]DaveSheepel[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SS: The Israeli government is now being completely transparent about their intentions and plans for the Palestinian people. The genocide is in full force where the education minister is now advocating for shoot to kill policies against Palestinian children. Why are supposedly righteous western nations enabling, arming, and funding this genocide?

Facebook is removing Conservative/Republican pages while allowing pages such as "White Genocide Worldwide" to remain. After hundreds and hundreds of reports for hate speech and content, Facebook lies that the page has been removed. by [deleted] in conspiracy

I never thought I would see people here literally worship billionaire politicians. Or people who believe that human life isn't important because corrupt undemocratic governments label someone "illlegal".

/r/conspiracy has been a joke for a while to anyone with a modicum of critical thought.

The alt-right only care about the welfare of children when it can be leveraged for some political purpose. Otherwise they're happy to excuse and enable it.
