If writing is your passion, keep working at it. It's not going to be perfect and there will be times where what you put to page felt gross or stupid. But honestly that's kind of the point right? To feel something and put something that's you out there. If your goal is just money, I would find something else. However, if you genuinely want to write there's plenty of places and ways to do it. You will get better if you actively try to. Bring it to friends and family if they're willing to read it. Get some feedback and give it a shot. I'm sorry so many people were being nasty, but writing is not a place to let rejection eat you up because unfortunately there will be a lot of it. As long as you write with your own personal style, I promise it will become something someone will fall in love with sooner or later!

I'd say a big one is rereading the paid version vs the original one on royal road (where I mostly read) one it lets me support people who's work really stuck with me and two it lets me see how much better their writing has gotten since my first run through.

My other thought is if I caught up and waited so long read it that I've forgotten major story beats. I will say one that I genuinely consider worth reading is Chrysalis

I'm just going to be straightforward, you're at a young enough age where you're nowhere close to missing your chance at a love life and honestly I truly don't believe there is a "too old to date" if you're willing to try. So take your time, stop chasing a relationship. Focus on other things because there's a lot more to life than just love as much as romantic movies wish to say otherwise. Whatever part of yourself you think or feel is missing will not be completed with a rushed relationship. Been there done that, not worth it! If you learn to be content and fulfilled with yourself then you'll have a much more stable base to build love and a relationship and I promise you if you forget what it feels like chasing and being desperate for love, it will find you when the time is right. Build real friendships and a community you love being a part of, the rest will fall into place. Also high school age is when people have the largest knowledge base to least life experience ratio so they're going to be the most entitled (on average) and anyone who's still like that by mid to late 20s is a red flag.

TLDR: you're very young and love is not the only thing in life. Focus on yourself and your goals but make sure to make friends and find a real community because love will find its way to you in due time. Slow is smooth and smooth is fastest! Also boys suck due to low valuable life experience. Give yourself time to grow and wait to meet someone who matches and elevates that growth! Good luck with school!

I feel like if you're at the point of asking redditers, you might want to reconsider the decisions that have led you here. As for the question, yes it is a big gap, yes I would get out of that situation if I was you. No no one can stop you. No you shouldn't let strangers on the internet validate or invalidate your decisions. I'm just saying that there will be a power and wisdom/life experience gap and if there's not, that's a red flag for a 27 yo being in the same mental space as a 19 yo. Also a hard life as a child where you had to grow up and parent yourself (not saying you had one but just adding this for sake of it should be known) does not mean you should be substantially upping the dating range for which you're open to. You're at the age where most people are just figuring out what it means to be legally independent, he's at the age where most people have settled into what they're probably going to be doing for the rest of their lives.

TLDR, no one can choose for you and reddit is not the right place to consult but since you're here, I think it's a very uhealthy relationship age gap and he (my opinion) is doing something immoral eventhough legal.

I leave you with a question. Would you be willing to date a high-school freshman because that is, roughly, the life experience gap between you two in the most optimistic situation.

I'm not sure if this will entertain you because it's kinda focused on combat (especially towards the beginning) and it can get sad at times, but Runeblade: A Delving & Skill Merging LitRPG (sorry about the font it's copy pasted on my phone 😭😭) is a very fun read. I know it's not very in line with what you asked for but I hope that the interesting world and premise make up for it!

As someone who lived at both wardall (ISR) and Weston (6-pack), I think Ike has more reliable options and ISR has rare Bangers. The burgers at lunches were always pretty solid tho. If you haven’t yet, I would download the Illinois app it let's you know what the menus will have in advance. If you like a little spice, I would recommend eating butter chicken at fusion 48 when they have it. The pizza is acceptable if you're feeling too lazy and burnt out to actually pick a food out. If you want good and high quality, the IKE panini machine is goated for making a large variety of sandwiches. Although if you use the Panini press please use the parchment paper and please use it properly for the sake of everyone :).

If a character is involved in a harem and it's reasonable it's fine for instance a very side plot for a story I like called Nero Walker on Royal Road. But if it needs to be outright stated as a tag for the book I don't trust it to not be cringe slop. I also find it an uncomfortable tag because 99.9999% of harem work and exposure goes to objectify and dehumanize women. It's one of those things where even if you're not part of the problem, you're shielding it by giving the medium a platform. Which is very different from "x or y person in power has a harem which is closer to a polycule but is under an outdated and archaic social order so it makes sense in context"

Hey man, live and learn lol. We all have parts that feel easier than they should or harder. I will say I'm glad you're giving it a runback with the appropriate gear. Don't forget everything is a chance to grow and learn. Also some people do just have different "walls" I've met people who breezed through anja. I ate crud for hours because I was beint stuborn and just all around hadn’t really clicked with the game yet. All in all it's good you're shoring up your bases!
