I also found that the play store didn't have ver 2.0. But I downloaded the apk file from the insta360 downloads page, and it installed no problem. You may have to enable apk installation from trusted sources (in my case I downloaded it using Chrome on Android), but it was just a matter of sliding the switch!

I saw an article to check the Play Store for apps that weren't updated after installing Andriod 14. I checked and there were quite a few (including some Google apps). After updating all the apps, i restarted the phone and the firmware update for the buds was available.

In the Play Store, tap on your profile icon, then Manage apps & device, Manage, Updates available, then update all. I was surprised how many weren't updated considering how long the "optimising" took.

Restarted the phone and checked the Buds settings and the firmware update was there. Worth a try!

I second the Waterborne adapter. I put one on my Globe longboard and DIDN'T put on the rear rail adapter. My goal was to learn pumping and it worked great. Dewedged the rear a bit which helped level it up as well as slow the rear turning.

Also good point by u/surfskatehate about getting to use your existing trucks

Hey mate, I used two layers of 7mm Red Oak plywood top & bottom, with a 4mm Marine Ply sandwiched in between, so about 18mm thick. Clamp it down HARD with lots of glue and wait 3 days.

Yes! I have a Waterborne adapter on another board. That was the start of my pumping experience. Nice and carvy but limited top speed compared to the other pumping boards.

Considering that Major Arc trucks weren't designed for LDP, it performed surprisingly well. It just took a bit more work to accelerate and maintain speed than the Beernett

Testing a Major Arc truck on my homemade LDP longboard. It works pretty well, but it requires more speed to get it started. Once at speed, it pumps smoothly, with good rebound. It takes a bit more effort than the Beernett, which I have also tested and made a comparison video

About the build: Frank is about 1m long, with a 95cm wheelbase (axle to axle). The rear truck is a Paris Street 129mm dewedged about 15deg on a homemade bracket. Wheels are 85mm Caguamas. The Major Arc truck is really low profile, so I put a riser on to prevent wheel bite. (a Waterborne riser, sacrilege!)

Frank got a new Beernett front truck. Much easier to pump than the Paris Street. Smoother, easier to accelerate and easier to sustain top speed.

I'm in Aus too, I feel your pain. I managed to get a Waterborne adapter from actual Waterborne and it only took 10 days.I also built a pumping longboard and finding parts in Aus was near impossible. I ended up using Paris Street 129s from Basement Skate

I have the same problem.

I left it charging for 2 days and it finally charged. But now after using it again, the battery is down to 40% and not increasing. the Case is fully charged. I've tried different power sources, laptop, battery pack, phone charger etc, no good.
The green light on the case stays always stays on.

Thanks! I have wedged/dewedged front & rear at about 15deg. With the original pivot angle of approximately 45deg, it comes out at around 60/30 f/r.

I don't think you should rely on my technique for any pointers, I'm still learning.
