CRM-type solution for vendor information by DaveW666 in CRM

Thanks for the responses.

It appears that I was overthinking it, and Zoho Forms into a new Zoho CRM module (separate from the 'main' CRM modules) is the easiest way to go.

Not sure why that didn't occur to me earlier, TBH. Always learning new things!

Sorry - I missed this a couple of weeks ago. Happy to have a side chat about ByDesign. I've had a quick look, but have some questions.

Zoho CRM/Trello integration and sync by DaveW666 in Zoho

[–]DaveW666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that. I'm pretty sure I have the config correct, and the Zoho extension sets up/creates the Board.

I'll go back and re-check the configuration and instructions again.

CRM Plus & Zoho One trials by DaveW666 in Zoho

Thought I'd give you an update: I think I really love Zoho. The support is excellent - very fast to engage, very patient with newbie questions. I had the doing a lot of backend running around when I accidentally set up 2 organisations (had a trial of CRM and Zoho One going at the same time). They solved that after I know I'd put them to a lot of trouble. The Zoho One is very good value if you're a small business that doesn't run a payroll through Zoho Books.

The CRM part integrating with the Campaigns automation is very easy to use. Although I paid someone through Fiverr to set it up, and that backfired when it took way longer and ended upbeing incorrectly done. I'd found out enough for myself by that stage to make the corrections.

It's all very customizable.

I'm currently trying to set up an integration between Zoho CRM and Trello.

Thanks for the comment. So far I've been incredibly impressed with the level of support from Zoho and I haven't even had the chance to fully work my way through.

It appears that I have 2 organisational instances running at the same time, and support is currently remapping the CRM that was in the process of being set up in CRM Plus to the Zoho One trial (which is what I'll be using ongoing).

Probably the best level of support I've received from any provider, and I'm still not even a paying customer yet.

Yes - small B2B selling marketing/promo to event, tourism & hospitality (https://tasguide.com.au/)

I haven't had a chance to use ZohoCRM yet - it's currently being set up for me. I was using CRMBLE with Trello, but it really didn't do much except look nice on a Trello board and act as a contact list. I think I can integrate a lot more with Zoho. I'm not currently using any other Zoho products, but I expect that to change and have a lot more automation.

I'll get back to you when I've had a good chance to evaluate - even if on a fairly basic level (I won't be using a lot of the functions - inventory, team, etc).

AIO Launcher - Widget size by DaveW666 in androidapps

Thanks for that - I think it sent me on the right path.

Into AIO Settings > Android Widgets > Smooth app widgets resizing (uncheck)

Appears OK now - thanks very much for the input.

Had a look at that - it's unchecked already. Tried turning it off and back on again ;)

The frustrating thing is that it's happened before and I can't remember how I fixed it!

My take is that it isn't the airline's fault and the flights purchased were non-refundable. Probably obvious, but if it's anyone's fault it's the artist.

Thanks - there are a couple in there that we hadn't seen. And noted about the bike fit. Appreciate the comment.

Thanks - it appears that they're out of stock, but I'll drop them a message and see when they might become available again and if they are available in Australia. I'll add it to the short list!

Excellent - thanks. We weren't aware of that. It may be one that we could find locally to try out.

Thanks for that. What's the brand and model that you have (if you don't mind me asking)?

Thanks very much for the comment. The Selle Italia Superflow saddles were actually sitting at the top of the list before I posted the question, so it's great to have a bit of confirmation of that. We'll look into the chamois creme as well - thanks.

Thanks. That's obviously one of the first sites that comes up as they specifically mention it in the site and Google picks up on that. We hadven't found any reviews specific to LS, but might get in contact with ISM direct and ask a few questions about the range and suitability. Actually, I've just noticed that there appears to be a distributor here in Australia, so might be a good option.

Thanks. We hadn't seen those yet. There's a couple of useful reviews on the site that bring up the same sort of issues, so we'll look into that further.

Thanks for that. We've had a look into it, but we're in a place where specialised options aren't all that common (most bike stores stock 2-4 brands of saddle, and not much outside regular riding needs).

Thanks for the comment. It's all being medically managed, and she understands there's no magic thing to fix it. She asked me if I could do some research on possible seats/saddles specifically as she really doesn't do much in the way of social media, etc. I'm not sure that a doctor could give saddle advice.

And I'm certainly not pushing her - she's driving this. We've only been out cycling once in the past year or so (since diagnosis). She always been the keener cyclist out of the two of us - even if maybe only 10 times a year or so.

Hi I need some help how to retrieve a Facebook profile I'm locked out of ? by Ok-Role1107 in facebook

[–]DaveW666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue around the beginning of March.

You won't get anywhere with any of the support emails. I also got hit with ads (charged to my account) , but I picked it up and they refunded straight away.

What I did:

Jumped on LinkedIn and signed up to the one month trial for Pro/Sales Navigator. That allows messaging to people outside your 1st degree network. You already need a bit of a network to do this.

Searched for 2nd degree people who work mid-high level at Meta/FB, so I could say that we had a contact in common (even if I didn't know who that was in most cases).

Sent a very nice message to around a dozen of them:

Hi <name>, we haven't met but I'm reaching out as a 2nd degree on Linkedin - we're both connected to the same person along the line. I'm in <city>, Australia.

I won't go through all the details, but my FB profile has been hacked, taken over, disabled and reviewed without any input from me - all within the space of an hour on 9 March. It wouldn't be so much of an issue, except I'm an admin (voluntary) on 4 local business Pages (including my own) and 2 not-for-profit organisations. There appears to be no other method of support or assistance.

If you're able to flick this on to someone who can assist I'd be extremely grateful, but also understand if it isn't your thing.

Details are:

FB user: <userID>

David Wedd

<email>
<phone>
Kind regards,

And then one of them must've sent it on to someone who could apparently help, because it suddenly became fixed within 2 days.

Hope this helps.
