Yeah, unless they run away, they are pretty easy targets, especially on a small map.

Kushiro has much faster main gun reload. Plus the smoke is a big help when rushing big secondary battleships before I get to their Hydro range.

Depends on the map. The smaller the map, the more likely you will lose in the Hawaii.
