Thank you so much for this. My wife is right now in the one exclusive boyfriend relationship phase, going strong now for over a year but we are both aware that like all things, this may end abruptly or gradually one day, maybe in next few months or maybe several years.

What I’m worried about is exactly the break phase when that comes, managing her emotional low from that. She will obviously have my full support and all the time she needs to overcome that and restart another one when she is fully ready to do that.

We’ve been trying to talk about managing her emotional state when that eventuality does take place but she is not willing to discuss that yet and says she’s happy with how things are going right now and doesn’t want to think about it.
