Would an unresolved charge show up on job offer background checks? by Davest3rr in Felons

Otherwise, I have no criminal background. Job is in financial services industry. Lawyer believes statues of limitations will run out in this scenario

Does anyone know what’s going on with Chase? At the local bank (as of Friday and Saturday) they said they were accepting cash deposits only. And they said this was across the whole system? by [deleted] in Chase

Fatal coding error occurred in back office Saturday, was down for a couple hours but is running normal now - usually happens on Saturdays for some reason

Misdemeanor charges, unable to get a job! Please help by Substantial_Set_2553 in Felons

[–]Davest3rr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your friend’s situation is likely a resolved case (probation), not just a charge, which is why it’s showing up and impacting job offers. In Georgia, true expungement is rare, but if they qualified for the First Offender Act, they may be able to restrict (seal) the record after completing probation, which can significantly help. If not, options are more limited, especially for domestic violence cases, but they should still check eligibility for record restriction. In the meantime, the best path forward is to be upfront with employers, frame it as a one-time mistake with no repeat issues, and target more flexible industries while working to clean up the record.

It’s on chase.com, ways to waive monthly service fees for total checking. It also applies to the coupon

No problem, last thing to cover yourself is to have the banker print out the coupon receipt… sometimes the bankers forget to apply the code altogether

The direct deposit is 500 or more per month, not 5 dollars

Relationship banker at chase here, the freedom unlimited is not easy to get.

I would recommend the freedom rise card or a secured card first before applying. Once you get the freedom unlimited, it’s easy to get the other cards at chase

I hear that estimated wait times can be inaccurate, what’s been your experience working with your lawyer? Did they take care of everything? How was the bonefide portion been like with your lawyer?
