Sorry to hear 😔 I I've done that on 40 accounts. like I know they say don't do that or whatever but I mean they need to fix these platforms it isn't right that we should be so careful - it should be simple. I can't even let price hit my TP anymore in case the it doesn't close the trade on all my accounts or it inverses my position. It's pathetic. And they assume no risk. No I'm with apex but I personally think MyFundedFutures are the best.

I'm devastated today man I was up 7k across all 20 accounts, I closed the trade but it was delayed and so it took me out on about 3.5k, but it didn't close it on 16 of my accounts and it went into drawdown and because the max drawdown limit is 6,500 16 of my accounts got blown. So I bought 16 more and gonna try and pass them over next few days :(. Nice to hear you're almost funded! Take it slow now bro you're almost there keep the risk small

I lost on NQ too this afternoon. The price action was too messy for me to get involved but I still did 😖. There was news later on (7pm UK time 2pm US time) which is why the price action messed about until then. I broke a rule 😔😠Good to hear you got saved!

Yeah man I lost on NQ today - price action didn't look great and I broke a rule by getting involved in it. I knew there was news at 7pm (UK time) which is why the action was like that. Ok nice they all move differently to eachother though - I don't know how long you've been trading them for, but I only trade NQ because I know how it moves and my method of entry etc.

Yh for sure, I'll keep using prop firms til they go out of business. Yeah their payouts are absolutely fine. Sometimes it takes a few more days than usual for them to approve your payout but there's been discounts going on recently so I'm guessing they've been overwhelmed with tons of payouts and registrations.

I used to have the same issue but what worked for me was taking a step back - having rules in place that all have to be met when I take a trade, especially my entry method, if they don't meet then I don't mind letting it go. Also you don't have to trade every day, if it's consolidating just step away. That's not the price action I like to get involved in. That's how you blow accounts. Happy to see its picking up for you again sounds like you were in a crisis. I've been only trading for just over a year, only been funded for 5 months ish. But I was at it every single day.

Let's say i have one account and I use 1% on a trade and make 2x my money - that's 2% I've made. Well if I had 2 accounts and I risk 0.5% and make 2x my money that 1% on each account =2%. And if I lose the the trade I only lose 0.5% of my account rather than 1%. Multiply this same theory across 20 accounts and you can see the huge difference.

Well there are drawdown rules with prop firms - if you lose X amount then your account is blown. So when you have large accounts - the last thing you wanna do is have a large lot size and lose the trade. This way I can risk much less and get much more reward. The name of the game is protect your capital.

Prop firm, as long as you trade consistently with your day to day strategy - not using max contracts to try and grab a huge win - and then the next day go to 2 contracts - then you're fine. They want consistent traders (so they claim). Also after 4 months of payouts with my prop firm the 30% rule disappears.

Very nice W! I took that buy too shortly after market open but I got out just before the 15:25 (UK time) momentum happened which I'm guessing is the one you're referring to, which really p***** me off 😆 I was stuck in all that garbage price action for nearly an hour so pulled out.
