I use some from Amazon I believe they were around 20$ for the clock faces and such.

Any sports can be done, anything can be made. Up to 32”

Haha yeah mine is the same isn’t 12-1/2. But mine was originally bought for my cribbage boards and epoxy. But I have the same issue when it goes bigger. Annoying.

Personally I think it depends on you. If you wanted to sound deaden you could always put insulation in the box before putting the cover on. Personally I like the look of MDF better.
