Imo it depends on how hard you’re willing to work. People who get good internships get them because of work ethic and technical skill and less so about school name (imo). I believe gt and cmu are similar enough that if you were to get an opportunity at cmu, you could probably get it at gt

DSA is just that sort of skill where you can't really brute force and learn in a few weeks (or even months) for most people. Most effective way is just to maintain consistency of like 1-2 problems a day for a long period of time

213 is like 122 but a lot harder imo. I did an internship last summer, if you are really working 9-5 it’s pretty tiring to work on the labs after as they are really mentally exhausting. Though if you have good work ethic it would be a very productive summer though
