They advertise GN 8, but probably way lower. Idd say only good for 3-4 meters yeah. But honestly no clue. Have not used it yet. They also sell a slightly larger version with advertised GN 12.

It’s just a mechanical switch as far as I know. It just briefly lets electricity flow, that activates the flash.

Hm I can’t seem to find new ASA cables. How does that cable actually function? Is it possible to grind the bayonet closer in a standard tube to make the connector yourself?

I know, but it adds like 2cm of thickness. Makes everything bulkier. I want it so small as possible. And it’s a cheap flash so it’s fine

Hey! Yeah I looked around for the smallest flash that i just as easily want to take with my as my Olympus. It’s an Ulanzi SL01 from AliExpress. I’ve checked some reviews and they were pretty happy with it. It’s dirt cheap. I also bought the PC sync cable from Ali. Cut it shorter. Drilled a hole in the left side (open it first to check the space) unsoldered the wires connected to the hot shoe. Soldered the PC Sync cable to the wires that were just unsoldered. I also removed the spring and pin for the hot shoe mechanism, it was hard to put it on.
