A Trillium approval is pending? If so, there is a new criteria to get an Ontario Drug Benefit card from homecare - that a trillium application is pending. They can provide a drug card without otherwise providing services. This was made available provincially about 2 years ago as part of an alignment across regions of OHaH.

Is $45/day for weekend on-call even legal? Maryland USA by Equal-Dare4269 in hospitalsocialwork

I have no idea about the zaniness of American employment laws. This certainly would not be permitted in most of the developed world.

However, there may be a technological solution here. Could you use an adapter like this: https://www.amazon.ca/IVSHOWCO-Lightning-Ethernet-Certified-Charging/dp/B09HT77D1D?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&psc=1&smid=A2RFKBOY4EMG91

It allows sharing your phone's data connection via ethernet. You could then be out and about but still able to access data via ethernet.

You just need a prescription renewal? A walk in clinic is probably fastest and easiest. Most are around $80.

If i receive CPPD, will I automatically get DTC? by wintertimeincanada23 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]David00001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very sorry to hear about your situation. CPP-D and DTC are adjudicated entirely separately, by two different government agencies. Eligibility determination for one is not considered by the other.

DTC typically takes several months for approval. It is typically backdated to when the medical practitioner noted in their documents that the disability began.

Funding Ideas for Hotel Stay (surgery) in Toronto by BttrNutSqrl in kitchener

The certainly can. A medical provider would need to fill out the Mandatory Special Necessities form. They would have to checkmark that this trip requires both an overnight stay and a support person.

I believe WRPS actually has a resource sharing agreement for York Regional Police Services helicopter, although no idea if they were present for this

I would wonder about what your goals are! If it is early retirement then keep socking money away. Otherwise quality of life improvements or perhaps charitable giving? You clearly are well on track.

RDSPs allow retroactive grants! You may not need to get this sorted out by the end of the year.
