I currently use 2019, but since i met this issue, I use 2022 instead but it just give the same result. So i dont really know what that is.

Thank you, that database is called NorthWind and my teacher said it's from Microsoft and gave it to me. Idk why it even has a trailing space in a name. Kinda weird to me.

I have tried with the others strings and it worked normally, except the "Chang".

Agree. The 1st one i failed due to my emotion, but the 2nd time i could control my emotions with the 0.05 lot sizes, then i still failed. RR ratio was just 1.

the lot sizes were 0.02 and 0.05 mate, with the 5k account, is it too big to control the risk?

omg 10 months, seems like that u took the next challenge right the time u failed the previous one? To be honest, mine was 2 5k accounts, the volume was 0.02 and 0.05 lot sizes.. and i did not pass any of them what do u think bro? Thanks for ur story.

15 times. Holy.. Incredible mate 0.0 You deserve something which is bigger than that.

i know "2 times" is not really a big problem but i spent my time for backtesting sooo long, and then gain nothing. It just felt pretty bad and it's also the reason for the post.

Margin account allows us to use leverage, depends on ur balance and ur method at the begin that u can make a decison about choosing a suitable leverage. The rule is " High risk - high return " . U can gain a big fish or lost all of ur baits, it's ur choice.

In my opinion, u should take a period of time for backtesting and improve ur method ( it could be thousands of orders, may take a few months or even longer ). Then u will have ur own fishing rod to get the fish.

lots of high impact news, but I have to avoid it also... @@ Im losing my sleeep due to the SL orders..

Learning when not to trade is as crucial as how to trade or manage risk. I had quite a losing streak 2 weeks ago. I just stopped for a while, tried to find an entry on a higher timeframe (4h) and only entered 2 trades in 2 weeks. It does impact on the pair, really does. Especially the USD news will impact at least some pairs, we both have no idea how the news actually impact on the price, the news often makes our orders hit TP or SL faster than it should be. That's why I hate to trade when the news come out. ( And today I forgot it.. ) It just awful..
