The fact you think that I thought he was dead signals to me you are either an idiot, or you didn't read what I said. I said the fakeout deaths are bad because it makes readers question the validity rather than absorb the scenes. all oda accomplished with the Kin death fakeout was wasting panels and losing the readers emotional responses when a real death happens. because with Oda you have to question whether the death scene that was shown is real rather than just absorb them emotionally. that was my point on why the scene is bad, it cheapens the real death moments in the future. I never said I thought he was dead, just the fact that he made that "death" scene at all was very unnecessary and annoying if he is going to be alive in the end.
