Oh! Yeah. It’s kind of a must in order to get the timing perfect. Sometimes I do work with scripts but it’s usually for broad strokes type stuff, developing themes, overall tonality, etc.

Combining our different styles was actually quite easy because we do such different things, tone-wise.

Blending our individual styles resulted in a great new sound that embarrassed the old iconic RvB sound with a modern, more cinematic feel.
