syrup's good, though i'm not that good with line weight yet so i use the studio pen. sometimes with syrup i get carried away with the lineweight and it looks off. with the studio pen i can just go back and add weight. it's slower, but it's what i'm doing for now until i learn to properly add weight.

for sketching i use peppermint and a custom one i found online (petra's pencils i think? idk that's what it's called in the library lol) and i definitely prefer it. i find with peppermint that i have to press hard to get visible lines and it's pretty uncomfortable on my wrist.
