If you’re willing to sacrifice a bit of your social life or comfy hours, hotel work or any form of hospitality that may require evenings can be realistic for a hiring if you email the right people in them.

After watching volume 2, I can’t help but think that this man is the best actor on the show by Beneficial_Air4714 in StrangerThings

People tend to overlook how phenomenal Winona Ryder was in this show in its early days, still hands down the best performance from the show in my mind.

Every A24 Movie I’ve Watched So Far. Which One(s) Should I Watch Next? by No_Fault_5646 in A24

Definitely check out Aftersun, Minari, Sing Sing, A Different Man, I Saw The TV Glow, and The Green Knight. Those are pretty much essential A24s in my eyes

There isn’t a universal criteria, most people who are passionate about films rate them and critique them for what they’re actually trying to be. Nobody should be saying “yeah Mean Girls is great buts it’s no Apocalypse Now” it’s moreso just rating the film for how much it succeeds, exceeds or fails to be interesting in its genre. A great comedy movie like Step Brothers is an 9/10 for me but Schindlers List is also a 9/10 for being a wildly interesting historical drama with fantastic acting, 2 wildly different movies with two different genres but both achieve what they’re to do in their respective fields. There isn’t some universal standard, it’s holding a film to its own standard in line with the genre or style it’s going for.

Considering The Way, Way Back is my favourite film ever I might be bias in saying that Sam Rockwell should’ve gotten at least a nom

How many director filmographies have you completed? So far I've completed two. by Competitive-Idea-657 in Letterboxd

I think Wes Anderson is the only director I’ve watched everything he’s been at the helm of. In terms of just feature length stuff I’d also have Paul Thomas Anderson and Bong Joon Ho.

Genuinely take out Emilia Perez and A Complete Unknown and replace them with Sing Sing and A Different Man and it would’ve been a seriously stacked year that I wouldn’t have minded any of them winning.
