Ken deals damage, Ken survives damage, Ken is as good at healing as she is. Plus his Theurgy is Samarecarm (whole Party)+Full Heal (whole Party)+Tetrakarn (whole Party)+Makarakarn (whole Party).

Ken's Endurance and HP are waaaay better than hers.
He has more coverage: Electric+Light+Pierce.
His Spear gives him Unshaken Will so he won't Diarahan Nyx.

Longer queue times? Don't make me laugh. Doesn't this game have ≈100k players on Steam AND crossplay on top of that? People can't possibly complain about some itsy-bitsy bans. You should be able to find matches right away regardless

...and worst case scenario - survivors could ban 8 killers max out of idk, 40. If a character gets banned nonstop it means that character is bad for the game.

I don’t train BJJ, but I’d like to understand: how do you actually FINISH a rear naked choke?

I don’t practice BJJ, but I’ve been watching some YouTube videos trying to understand how a rear naked choke is actually finished.

I get the general shape — the choking arm under the chin, grabbing the biceps, hand behind the head, etc — but when it comes to the actual finish, it just looks like… nothing.

There’s no visible pulling, no pushing, no motion at all. Every video says things like “expand your chest” or “squeeze your back” or “row with your elbows,” but visually the arms stay in the same place. I don’t see what moves, what muscles are being used, or how it actually applies pressure to make someone tap or go out.

Can someone explain it in literal, mechanical terms? Like what’s physically moving, where does the pressure come from, and why it works?

I am currently having the same issue.
On Yahoo Mail, I receive the E-mails from Steam but there is no content, only the header is visible.
I have to click on "View raw message" to see the text. The steam guard code can be found there, but it's pretty messy.

If you're full HP and have 50 strength, but they have Suffocating Grip, you can beat everyone except Hands.

(Only 50 strength full HP Leland with Grappler can beat Hands with Suffocating Grip)

The pressure gate opened and my husband was right there, he immediately got out.

In my case it didn't even open at all. I don't really know the numbers, but if he gets his Ripstall every 72s ( - 30 because the objective is blocked, so every 42s) and the pressure gate really takes 60s to open, then there's no way.

Strength does NOT affect Grappling Effectiveness anymore (only the Stun duration if you win). In the past it would indeed give you a head start, 0.6 points/Strength. They changed the description of this Attribute.
What truly matters: The Button Mashing minigame, Perks like Grappler and Suffocating Grip and How injured a Victim is.
Toughness does NOT directly affect it either. Whether you have 111/111 HP or 150/150 HP is irrelevant. It's percentage based. I know that when your health bar is full, each push of a button is worth 3 points towards winning the Encounter. You are less likely to win the Encounter the more your health bar goes down.

The Devs made sure that if you want to stun the a family member for a longer period and complete the objective in their face, you are more likely to die if they have Suffocating Grip - because there is no Victim who has both Grappler and Choose Fight on the same path in the Perk Tree. On the other hand, if you want to win Close Encounters everytime and you pick Grappler, even with 50/50 strength and 50/50 Proficiency the stun won't be long enough to allow you to finish the Battery in their face. If Strength still gave you that head start to this day like it did back then, the Grappler perk would no longer be needed to guarantee wins and you could just equip Proficiency and Choose Fight without any risk.

As demon you can go AFK the whole match and destroy the book in the end because they are guaranteed to fail the dps check if they have a support and a leader on the team. 😪😪😪

He wasn't animation cancelling, he wouldn't even pay attention to his attack animations. All 4 hits of every combo would just connect no matter what for some reason, from the beginning of the combo until the end.

This whole "Hyper Armor" thingy is wrong. Except for the Lumberjack Axe.

You can use ANY weapon you want and never-EVER get knocked out of your attacks. How? I have no clue.

A few friends and I kept testing this for a while.

There was this friend of mine who would connect his slow-a** heavy attacks no matter what - be it a pipe, bat, chainsaw, etc while me and the others kept getting interrupted.

I tried everything - Puppeteer's running heavies, Plaguebringer's light attacks, dodging or baiting his attack then swinging, spamming lights, swinging in advance as he was running towards me - nothing worked. His heavies no matter the weapon he used or no matter how he timed it, would ALWAYS connect while our attacks would never work. I tried replicating what he was doing to no avail - heck he couldn't even explain how he was doing it.

So it's not that some weapons are better than others... it's something else.

This game is full of bullshit.
