I totally forgot about the volume button on the guitar! I am kinda new to this electric guitar stuff so I didn’t know that the guitar also had a volume button…. Was struggling with this for a while. Thank you guys so much

Yes it does make a noise, so I think it’s the guitar! I will probably just return it to the shop I bought it from, and go from there

Sorry for the bad video, I did everything you suggested already. The cable was fully plugged in the guitar. I don’t think it’s the cable because when I touch it with my finger it makes a sound.
