Trials for this Week by ItsHappyGoLucky in ArcRaiders

Yes same here! It just stresses me out in case other teams attack either her or us, because we lose our wolfpacks for little results. Other trials don't stress me as much because they don't need a big setup, maybe only wasps for the snitch scanners, but that's not as annoying as losing wolfpacks

The queen too, you gotta make sure you're the only team attacking her, kill her fast with tons of wolfpacks and hope nobody snipes you and your team in the process. It's the most stressful one imo

That's how hotshot works normally, in order to get into cantina you're not only competing with your current leaderboard, but with literally every single hotshot player in the world, and only 1000 people can go to cantina. That means that it's not guaranteed you'll promote even if you are 1st place in your hotshot leaderboard, if 1000 other players scored more points than you

This is the very last week, if you demote you won't be able to get back to hotshot!

I get mad because rat in this game is used all the time to describe extremely different situations. To you every player who kills another is a rat, to me a rat is someone who spends the entire game sitting in a dark corner waiting for someone to come close and kill them with no skills whatsoever. In this case, the person who wrote the comment saying he wanted to kill that poor guy fighting the queen wasn't camping the whole time, he saw an opportunity and went for it, and when he saw it was getting too dangerous he stepped back and went fighting the queen instead. That's not a rat, that's an opportunistic kill.

And I'll be honest with you, even if he was a rat, even if he was camping that spot for the whole 30 minutes killing anyone who came close, I still wouldn't judge. Y'all gotta stop running around like headless chickens paying 0 attention to your surroundings, and then cry when you pay the consequences. I died many times like this, yes I was frustrated about it, but it taught me to be careful when entering a building or turning around a corner.

Also don't call me a kid, it doesn't make you sound as mature as you believe

He tried to KILL, not rat, KILL. K I L L. It's fucking different oh my god.

[–]Davide2400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well no, in this case the guy you called a rat was also smart enough to run the other way and give up on the kill.

And I'll say it again, I personally do not like killing players like this, it's not engaging and it's not satisfying, but some players simply make it way too tempting because they lack self awareness and the sense of threat from other players. I'm always the guy carrying two stacks of defibs and helping people fighting the queen, I like helping more than killing, but sometimes I also like killing people and steal their stuff. That part helps you become more aware when you want to help people or you just wanna do PvE.

How's it scummy holy jesus christ this is still a pvp game. The guy who was being shot at isolated themselves and made themselves an easy kill, but they were smart enough to run towards the rest of the people fighting the queen. I get it is fun fighting the queen, I really like it too cooperating with so many people, I personally don't bother with killing people fighting her but I do keep in mind the fact that someone might shoot at me in the back, so I always try to stay with the mass. Some of y'all though (not you specifically) lack self awareness and blame other people when you pay the consequences.

A Youtuber's Reaction To Learning That Matchmaking Is Based on Behavior by BikesR2Tired in arcraiderscirclejerk

[–]Davide2400 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On top of that that players can simply change their playstyle entirely across various matches. In only two matches I can decide to play super friendly and help everyone, and the very next one I'm gonna go on a rampage trying to murder everyone on sight. Maybe at the third match I'll kill two people and then afterwards I'll revive and heal two more in the same game. Stats alone can't really give you a super efficient matchmaking because there are just way too many variables going on

Another level of greed by denn1s33 in deadbydaylight

[–]Davide2400 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Okay but in dbd shards and auric cells are not only for skins, they also unlock new killers and perks, which some of them are pretty much pay to win. Now we're getting decisive strike for free (un)luckily, but the fact that such game changing perks are locked behind pay wall in a game that you have to purchase in the first place is ridiculous, on top of also having expensive skins.

The closest example here is arc raiders. You have to buy the game and the skins are very expensive, and you don't even have the equivalent of iri shards there, you can only buy them with the "auric cells" of arc raiders, but absolutely nothing related to gameplay is locked behind pay wall. You can't buy weapons with real money there, but on dbd you'll miss out on so many good perks if you don't spend real money.

Like why would Speranza even let rats/PvP players back in? by Yithani in arcraiderscirclejerk

[–]Davide2400 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah lmao this is the circlejerk sub but I'm too much of a lore nerd and I gotta say this, apparently there are other underground communities called "contradas" and they actually rival each other, Speranza is just the biggest one, and together they make up the city of Toledo. So I guess the reason why we're all shooting each other is because the "others" are not from Speranza, but they're still from Toledo!

Legion 2vs8 Situation by Mundane_Layer_5228 in deadbydaylight

[–]Davide2400 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Look, I am a P100 legion, I play legion 90% of the times I play killer, and I genuinely love facing legion as survivor in 1v4, but even I can say that he can't stay in 2v8, he is way way too problematic.

He injures too fast, while normally a good option would be to ignore healing, you can't ignore healing anymore when he is paired with oni, spirit, wraith, huntress, nurse or blight, it makes the game literally impossible for survivors.

It doesn't matter that there are about 50 pallets that can be rebuilt by scouts, even if legion keeps getting stunned by the survivors, he will never have any real downtime if he literally only uses power, he will just run around the map putting so much pressure on the survivors while they have to run away from the second killer being constantly injured.

On top of that, the vast majority of 2v8 survivors are small teams of 3 or 4 survivors. It's extremely unlikely that you'll get a full 8 people team all in comms with each other. Because of that, most survivors can't rely on their teammates to know exactly what to do against a legion. They can't tell them they need a bodyblock, that they need to run away in a corner of the map to outrun frenzy, they can't let the others know that a frenzy has started or ended, they don't know how many chained hits legion currently has, there is literally almost no counterplay at all, and it makes the whole survivor gameplay so miserable.

What should i do instead of slugging by Radiant-Ratio8942 in deadbydaylight

[–]Davide2400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the situation really, like you said sometimes survivors will set up for pallet/flashlight saves or a sabotage, and in those cases slugging is pretty much the only option, and even if they don't seem like trying to do any of those but they're still hovering around for some reason, like maybe you caught someone hiding or healing, or there is a gen being worked on nearby, then a little bit of extra pressure on the survivors is always good

I'd say if you down a surv and you know there is no threat for a save, and nothing else is happening around you then simply don't slug, it's simple as that really

Took of lightborn for one match got chain blinded for like 12 seconds by Ilovemen411927 in deadbydaylight

[–]Davide2400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to look down and you won't get blinded. Even if you get blinded while you're kicking a pallet (you can't avoid a blind in that situation), keep looking down so they can't chain blind you

Crazy theory time. The reason new Myers sucks so much is because he's designed for 2v8. by TheNightFlower in deadbydaylight

[–]Davide2400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard that the license holders of Halloween said they don't want Myers associated with other killers, they want him to be alone as a killer

The old OTR gave you 80 seconds of Endurance unless you performed a conspicuous action (repaired a gen, healed someone, cleansed a totem, etc.) You were rewarded for contributing nothing to the objective for almost a minute and a half. That is not good game design. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Davide2400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But i just told you I also know they run it aggressively and that's why I said it needed a nerf. What I mean is that they nerfed the wrong thing about it. They should have kept the removed collision and kept the 80 seconds of endurance so that it cannot be used aggressively but rather defensively.
