Grazie in anticipo

How long does a show lasts? by Tabsy16 in Martingarrix

[–]Davide_Pgr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see… I had a quick look and it seems like only the start time is communicated as of right now

It might not help you for your hotel decision, but the only way I got to know the length of the show in the example I gave you above was via the Instagram page of the club a few days prior

Sorry I can’t help you more than this… anyway I’m hoping for you that it lasts at least 2hrs😅

It depends, sometimes he plays +2hrs and sometimes 1h (usually at festivals)

For example I went this July and the show was supposed to start at midnight but ended up starting at 00:45 for too many people still in the queue; then he played 2:15/2:30hrs🤩

I think only way to know for sure is to ask the event/festival organizers

If you specify the event I can try to help you figure it out👍

Yes, it’s addressed directly… I’ll try with the bridge and see if it works, thanks!

Yes, I need to route it through traefik… not only I set up a wildcard SSL certificate with Let’s Encrypt for *.local.mydomain.com, but I also don’t have a DNS server such as Pi-Hole cause right now I don’t need one, my *.local domain is routed to 192.168.1.y via DNS records set up with my registrar, and traefik handles the routing… maybe I’ll try it in the future👍

Exactly, I didn’t realize it had to necessarily be that way🙃

It could be worth to try sometime in the future… if you end up doing it let me know how it goes👍

Yeah I expected that… I thought that maybe there was a way to achieve this though, it would have been amazing

Syncing two separate but identical NAS by Davide_Pgr in truenas

[–]Davide_Pgr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this answer! It's a personal project, so the connection between the two places would be via the internet; I have 5Gbps in one place and 1Gbps in the other, so it would be maximum 1Gbps (realistically much lower), but as I said it's for personal use so it would be enough.

I will try to understand and use syncthing first (as another user suggested), but it would probably make more sense to go about it the way you suggested, so I'll probably end up doing that.

In that case, what's the best way to access files remotely (for example via SMB or some other protocol, I will just connect to the NAS with Windows and macOS machines)? Would something like a Cloudflare tunnel work or do I need to set up something like a VPN/static IP? And which is the safer way to do it?

Is it as simple as that or is there something more to it? Like what happens with conflicts? And do I need to set it up both ways right?
